I used a pro for the installation, but he used this kit. I have a 2001 MDX. This is a perfect fit. No gaps or parts sticking out. Looks like it could have been original factory. I like the little tray in the single DIN, too. Perfect size to place your phone, parking receipt, etc.
Pros: Exact fit. Looks close enough to be an original Acura part.

2001 Acura MDX
The kit works very well. It would be nice if the included trim ring completely filled the gap between the stereo and the panel. Otherwise, the panel looks great. The cubbyhole underneath is handy; my Bride always needs another place to stash stuff.
Pros: Good fit and appearance.
Cons: A thicker trim ring would improve the overall look of the installation.
