It works fine for now. But it is all plastic and replaces a solid metal frame so I am concerned about how it will fare until the long term

It's not the highest quality plastic and the screws were a bear to get in, but it works and it was free. The fit isn't perfect but that may be due to my car's dashboard warping a little, impossible to tell. Either way, Metra is a solid brand and have yet to let me down.

2013 Honda Insight
2013 insight dash kit..it looks good. Not the original color and decently.. I had to kind of come up with a solution to make the internal mounting bracket work but if your a problem solver it wasn't a big deal... BUT THE METRA HARNESS and antenna adpter IS WRONG.. but after looking at other websites I think metra messed up. Beacuse they all recommend the same harness and adpter so double check b4 ordering. I didn't get a pick of the harness. But the adpter needs to fit whats in the 2nd pic

Fits well on my 2012 honda insight ex.
Pros:
Cons: wasn't expecting to have to cut/dremel the middle portion since my unit is a double din.

Very clean and has an OEM style feel to the finish. For no problem

Pros: Went in easy, Looks Great, Work very nice. The Bluetooth connection is just what I needed

Bad news for JVC double DIN

The overall look isn't bad for a Metra kit. The install process for a double DIN stereo involves sawing, which isn't a big deal, but be careful not to dent the soft plastic of the kit. The trim ring is flimsy, but it's better than the Scosche kit, which doesn't have a trim ring at all.
Pros: Doesn't look bad, has a trim ring
Cons: Build quality is weak, trim ring is flimsy
