Works with significant modification

This faceplate if a different color than my vehicle dash (2004 BMW Z4) so I had to paint it to match the dash. For the installation the faceplate had to be significantly modified to fit the dash (both top and bottom sections had to be removed completely and only side "wings" were used). With significant modification I was able to make this work and the install is now "very clean". As a kit produced specifically for this application I would expect it to be a much cleaner and better fit without all of the modifications. This will work in the application, but expect to do major mods of the install kit to make it work.
Pros: Side pieces of the faceplate fill gaps around stereo well
Cons: Needs significant trimming and color match to dash for clean install

Extremely poor design, wrong color, horrible fit
