About the Metra BackupCam Backup Camera Cable
This Metra BackupCam cable lets you keep your factory-installed backup camera when you install an aftermarket stereo in select 2006-up GM vehicles. The 13" cable gives you a GMLAN29 connector on one end along with a composite video connector on the other. Once installed, you'll see images from your GM rear-view camera on your new receiver's screen. Warranty: 1 year.

GM Backup Camera Harness: The BACKUPCAM harness is designed specifically for GMLAN29 vehicles that have a factory (OEM) installed back-up camera and displays its back-up image on the factory head unit's monitor. The BACKUPCAM harness lets you retain your GM vehicle's factory back-up camera so it can be viewed through your newly installed aftermarket head unit.
Note: If your vehicle's factory backup camera image is displayed in the rear-view mirror, then you will not need this harness. The factory backup camera's image will continue to display on the rear-view mirror and cannot be integrated into an aftermarket head unit's display.
Vehicle Compatibility: The BACKUPCAM is compatible with the following GMLAN29 vehicles.

Connections: The BACKUPCAM is fitted with a 16-pin GMLAN29 connector on one end and a male composite video connector on other end. The BACKUPCAM measures 13" in length.
