More details on the Metra BackupCam Backup Camera Cable
GM Backup Camera Harness: The BACKUPCAM harness is designed specifically for GMLAN29 vehicles that have a factory (OEM) installed back-up camera and displays its back-up image on the factory head unit's monitor. The BACKUPCAM harness lets you retain your GM vehicle's factory back-up camera so it can be viewed through your newly installed aftermarket head unit.
Note: If your vehicle's factory backup camera image is displayed in the rear-view mirror, then you will not need this harness. The factory backup camera's image will continue to display on the rear-view mirror and cannot be integrated into an aftermarket head unit's display.
Vehicle Compatibility: The BACKUPCAM is compatible with the following GMLAN29 vehicles.
Note: Please consult Crutchfield's Outfit My Car to see if your specific vehicle is compatible.
Connections: The BACKUPCAM is fitted with a 16-pin GMLAN29 connector on one end and a male composite video connector on other end. The BACKUPCAM measures 13" in length.
