About the T-Spec DB-14PN Mini ANL Fused Distribution Block
Distributes power and ground safely and neatly
T-Spec designed this DB-14PN distribution block to handle the high-current power and ground distribution for two amplifiers, and protect them each with a mini-ANL fuse (sold separately). This hefty little block distributes power from a 1/0-gauge positive power cable to two 4- to 8-gauge amplifier power leads, each routed through a mini-ANL fuse. Then, the same block receives the amps' two ground wires and combines them for a single 1/0-gauge ground cable to your car's chassis. The DB-14PN features a second 1/0-gauge positive input so you can daisy chain another distribution block or amplifier into your system.
Secures all your connections
The set screws for the fuses have specially-designed heads that fit many tools, even a coin, so you will always be able to change a fuse without having to carry around a special tool. Solid black nickel-plated brass construction ensures reliable power flow, and an impact-resistant plastic cover protects your connections from the weather. You'll need Allen head wrenches to install this block. Warranty: 1 year.
What's in the box:
- Power + ground distribution block with two 1/0 AWG set screw inputs (pos + neg) and four 4/8 AWG set screw outputs (2 pos + 2 neg)
- Plastic cover (installed)
T-Spec DB-14PN Mini ANL Fused Distribution Block reviews
Confusing as heck, especially when I just asked for a "distribution block" and was sold this with no explanation that it's a 2-way power and ground distribution block that requires purchasing mini-ANL fuses. One star removed for Crutchfield's failure TWICE (in original order and then when I called to return it) to sell me what I asked for and needed - a simple 4-way unfused distribution block (like the T-Spec DB-1144, which sells for the same price as this item). Second star removed for manufacturing defect on first one received - one of the grub screws on #4 wire connection stripped badly after removing, making one half of the ground block non-functional. Third star removed for my #1 Complaint - no wiring diagram included by either Crutchfield or T-SPEC with the item. On Crutchfield's website, there are not even good photos of installed setup with wires and fuses. Recommend Crutchfield work with manufacturer T-Spec to create proper wiring diagram and display on sales page as one of the photos for the item. Recommend T-Spec include printed wiring diagram with each of these items sold.
Pros: Probably works very well as intended, (1) 1/0 to (2) unfused #4 on the center line and two separate individual 1/0 to #4 fused connections, which could be used for ground or separate power connections.
Cons: No wiring diagram. First product had cross-threaded grub screw for one #4 connection.

Great all in one distribution block for power and gound in a very small footprint, makes wiring multiple amps easy and neat
Pros: Size and build quality

This is a great fuses distribution block. Before buying this, I was using 1 fuses distribution block, and two other non fused blocks. This unit was able to replace all of those, reducing the amount of cable I need, saving space, and making the install much cleaner. One of the other reviews mentioned needing to modify something to use it properly. I don't know what they are talking about because the unit is comes out of the box able to split a positive line to 2 fused lines, and take two negatives and join them to 1 ground. This thing is great and seems well made. Just don't forget to buy some MANL fuses would go with it.
Pros: Small footprint for how much utility you get. Sturdy and well made
Cons: Screwing the cables in isn't easy if you've already mounted the unit and installed the fuses,so make sure to do that last.

Pros: Was able to power the two amps o am using with no problems at all.

I bought this because I thought that it would allow for 1 ground wire and 1 power wire in and then have 2 ground and 2 power wires out, but that isn't how it works. I had to do a little modifications to make it work but it was easy to install.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Not quite what I thought it was.

More details on the T-Spec DB-14PN Mini ANL Fused Distribution Block
Overview: This package includes a T-Spec distribution block for both the main power (positive) and ground (negative) circuits. The positive distribution portion uses one or two mini-ANL (MANL) fuses (not included). The solid brass construction gives you maximum conductivity. The block has a flat-black finish, and is installed inside an impact-resistant polycarbonate cover with a translucent removable cover. The cover has a small footprint, with two holes in the base for mounting with screws or wire ties.
Configuration: On one side, the distribution block has three inputs for 1/0 AWG wire. The center input is used for the ground (negative) circuit, and has two outputs for 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire on the other side. On the main power (positive) side, you can use the 1/0 AWG input on either side of the ground input. There are two individual outputs for 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire. You will need to place a MANL fuse on each output.
Universal Fuse Screws: The screws that secure the MANL fuses can be loosened or tightened with a flat-head screwdriver, a coin, or a 3mm Allen wrench. This makes it easier to change fuses without tools, if necessary.
Set Screws: The wire connections are secured with set screws. A 3mm Allen wrench is required to tighten or loosen the set screws.
