Axxess XSVI-5524-NAV interface

The Axxess XSVI-5524-NAV interface lets you connect your new high-powered car stereo to the factory wiring plug in your 2013-19 Ford vehicle. This adapter provides you the electrical, ground, and speaker connections you need, including a 12-volt accessory power lead for your new stereo. It also retains the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) and offers the reverse, parking brake, and Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) outputs needed for installing a new navigation receiver.

The XSVI-5524-NAV interface also includes a pre-wired harness for the Axxess ASWC-1 interface (sold separately), in case you'd like to integrate your factory steering wheel audio controls with your new car stereo.

The XSVI-5524-NAV interface is designed to be used in vehicles without a factory amplified sound system or when replacing the entire factory amplifier system.

12V/10A Accessory Output: In these vehicles, there is no 12-volt accessory wire in the factory harness, which requires the installer to run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column when installing an aftermarket radio. The XSVI-5524-NAV is designed to provide a 12-volt/10-amp switched accessory output (red wire), along with an illumination wire (orange/white wire).

Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.): The Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.) function supplies power to the radio after the ignition is shut off until one of the front doors are opened. This function is retained by the XSVI-5524-NAV interface.

Navigation Ready: The XSVI-5524-NAV provides essential wires required for aftermarket radios that have navigation. VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense), Reverse, and Parking Brake wires are provided. This helps to cut down the installation time, since the installer does not have to look for these wires in the vehicle.

Optional Steering Wheel Control Interface: The included wiring harness features a right-angle 3.5mm connector that lets you keep your vehicle's OEM steering wheel controls via the optional Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface (120ASWC1, sold separately).

I had power from it right when I started but then there was no audio and I unplugged ii looked at the wires and now there is no power going to the radio?

I keep seeing your only response as to call the advisor team with no answers. These questions are very straightforward so can you please just save a lot of people's time and answer: will one lose all functionality of the Microsoft Sync features, car features or some features (if so which ones) as well as use of the upper screen display? I think most are hung up on that to buy ANYTHING after market. Maybe in the description of these items since the site is capable of only showing us which parts fit our cars, it would be helpful to include this information there.

With this harness specifically, Ford SYNC is not retained at all. Depending on the specific year, model and trim package of your Ford vehicle, we may have other options for retaining the SYNC system and other factory options as well.
