Customer Q&A

Q
Crutchfield asked: Why did you buy this?
A
The manufacturer of my subs recommends this brand because this is what they use when they build systems for cars because its 100% OFC (oxygen free copper) and the system that I have setup pulls 2000 watts RMS continuous so I figured the extra ratings were a benefit [ ZACKERY  Feb 17, 2016 ]

Q
I'm not sure how many watts... is it ok to get something rated for more watts than necessary?

A
Getting a second battery that has more power than you will need will not harm anything.

Q
Will it work with a dc 5k amplifier?
[ nick  Oct 30, 2015 ]
1 answer
A
Per the manufacturer's site and the ratings they list, this can work but only if you are running the amp at 4 or 2 ohms. When you hit 1 ohm ratings, this will not work well.
