The Pioneer Premier PRS Series TS-C520PRS component system includes two 5-1/4" woofers, two 1-1/8" tweeters, and a pair of sophisticated crossover networks.
Strong bass with midrange accuracy
Each woofer features Pioneer's Injection Molded Matrix cone — a multi-layered design made from polypropylene, Aramid fibers, and glass fibers — that's lightweight and exceptionally rigid. The lightweight micro-fiber surround holds its shape when the cone is moving so the bass stays tight. The woofer's aluminum center plug improves sound dispersion and helps to dissipate heat from the voice coil.
High-frequency performance
The 1-1/8" polyester soft dome tweeter features a sealed chamber that extends its frequency response much lower, for a better transition from the highs to the lows. The lower crossover point also helps to open up the sound as more sonic details are broadcast from the tweeter.

IMPP Woofer: Each 5-1/4" cone woofer is made from 3-layer IMX (Injection-molded Matrix) Rigilite composite-foamed IMPP, sandwiched between interlaced aramid fiber (woven carbon-blended fiber) and glass fiber layers. This combination ensures greater rigidity and superior resistance against bending, making it ideal for reproducing midrange sound. The woofers have lightweight, high density Micro Fiber surrounds for excellent linearity and smooth response, and large,13.7-ounce Strontium magnets.
Mounting: The TS-C520PRS's woofers can be mounted in a standard 4-hole 5-1/4" opening without the use of a bracket. The woofers can also be mounted in a standard 6x8" opening or a Ford/Mazda 5x7" opening using the supplied oval 6x8 adapter brackets.
Tweeters
Soft-Dome Tweeter: The TS-C520PRS features two 1-1/8" soft-dome tweeters with magnetic fluid and dual Neodymium magnets (total weight: 0.7 ounces) for efficient, crisp, clear highs.
Mounting: The tweeters can be flush-mounted using the supplied metal clamps. The supplied plastic mounting cups allow you to surface mount the tweeters in an aftermarket location or mount the tweeters in a factory tweeter location behind a factory installed grille. The surface mounting cup lets you position the tweeter at 45° or 75° angle. Once installed, the tweeters do not swivel. The surface mounting cups attach to a flat, clean surface of your vehicle with the supplied dual-sided tape.

Crossovers
Passive Crossover Network: The TS-C520PRS features one, audiophile-grade, 2000 Hz outboard passive crossover module for each woofer/tweeter combination. The two outboard crossover modules feature a fixed -12dB/octave low-pass and -12dB/octave high-pass filter.
Crossover Connections: Gold-plated screw terminals are provided to connect the crossover to your amplifier and the woofer and tweeter. Note: No speaker wires or quick slides are provided for connecting the crossovers to the woofers.
Tweeter Level Control: The crossover provides a 3-step tweeter level adjustment. One screw terminal provides a 0 dB output, while two others provide -3 dB and +3 dB output.
Mounting: There are four supplied self-tapping screws (4mm x 25mm) for mounting the crossovers in your vehicle.

Warranty Note
Warranty Note: The included warranty card indicates a 1 year parts and labor warranty for Premier brand loudspeakers. The warranty is extended to 3 years if the speakers are installed by a Pioneer Premier dealer. However, Pioneer has extended the warranty to 3 years for all Premier brand speakers purchased from Crutchfield, regardless of who installs them.
