Features

HDMI/USB Interface Cable (for iPhone with Lightning Connector): The Pioneer CD-IH202 cable kit is an "all digital" connection designed for use with AppRadio Mode compatible Pioneer receivers that have an HDMI input. The kit includes a 6.5' automotive grade HDMI cable, which handles all audio/video transfer between the Pioneer receiver and an iPhone with Lightning connector, a 5' USB to17-pin cable for charging, and a spiral cord wrapper to keep the cords neatly organized.

Operation: When used with a compatible Pioneer in-dash receiver and appropriate Apple Lightning adapters (sold separately), the CD-IH202 cable kit enables iPhone with Lightning connector users to access and control select iPhone with Lightning connector apps via AppRadio Mode (formerly known as Advanced App Mode) as well as play and control music and videos stored on the iPhone with Lightning connector from the receiver's touchscreen display.

Additional Requirements: To complete compatibility between AppRadio Mode and the iPhone with Lightning connector, a firmware update from Pioneer's website is required for your compatible Pioneer head unit; as well as the purchase of the following Apple Lightning adapter accessories.

  • Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter (472LT2HDMI, sold separately)
  • Apple Lightning to USB Cable (472LTN2USB, sold separately)
Note: Audio and video travels from the iPhone with Lightning connector to the compatible Pioneer receiver via the HDMI connector, while the USB connector charges the Apple device. Control is done via the Pioneer receiver's built-in Bluetooth.
