Inputs and Outputs
Cosmetics: The amplifier is black with a silver Pioneer logo and grey lettering. The side panels are grey with white lettering.
Internal Crossover: The built-in crossover can be set for low-pass operation or turned off for full-range output. The crossover is fixed at 80Hz and has a slope of 12dB/octave.
Power Indicator Light: The power indicator lights up when the power is switched on so you know when the amp is getting power.
Bridgeable: The amplifier is bridgeable down to one channel to maximize output when running a single sub or combination of subs.
Left Side of Amplifier:
- Crossover Switch: Allows you to select low-pass or full-range operation for the crossover. For subwoofers you would select the LPF position and for full range speakers you would select the off position.
- Gain Control: Allows you to adjust the input sensitivity of the preamp inputs from 0.4 to 6.5 Volts to maximize sound quality. When using an RCA equipped car stereo (standard output of 500mV), set the gain control to the "Normal" setting. When using an RCA equipped head unit with max. output of 4V or more adjust gain level to match the car stereo's output level. When using the speaker level inputs, turn the gain control counter-clockwise if you hear too much noise.
- Bass Boost: Bass Boost level control will boost the level of low frequencies around 50Hz by selecting either 0, 6, or 12 dB.
Right Side of Amplifier:
- BFC (Beat Frequency Control) switch: If you hear a beat while listening to an AM broadcast with your car stereo, change the BFC switch using a small standard tip screwdriver. Switch is located to the right of the speaker output terminals.
Left Side of Amplifier:
- Input: Pair of stereo RCA jacks
- Speaker Input: Speaker Level Input allows you to hook the GM-5200T to an OEM/Factory Head-unit or any head-unit that does not typically have RCA outputs without having to purchase optional adapters. (adapter plug included)
Right Side of Amplifier:
- Power: Screw terminal (0.625" wide)
- GND (ground): Screw terminal (0.625" wide)
- System Control (remote turn-on): Screw terminal (0.3125" wide)
- Speakers: Screw terminals (each terminal is 0.3125" wide). Bridged operation uses the right(-) and left(+) speaker terminals.
- Fuses: Two 30-amp blade fuses
