Rock Solid Amp for the $$

I had used upper end Pioneer car audio back in the 80s and was always pleased. Wanted something now to power 4 additional speakers on my new pontoon boat. Didn't see the need to spend the extra money for a JL Audio unit or Wetsounds. Had the amp professionally installed at my boat dealer. Looks great and sounds great. Highly recommend it for the money. On a side note, I could hear a high-pitched whine coming from the 4 new speaker whether the boat motor was running or not. Called back and spoke with tech support. They recommended adjusting the gain to eliminate the whine. That took care of it. Now the unit doesn't overpower the other 4 original speakers anymore either.
Pros: Price, reliability, marine rated
Cons: Reducing the gain lowered the power output so it's not as loud as before, but it correctly balanced now so not really a con....
