So I bought these tweeters for a couple of reasons; first, I needed a product that handled a lot of RMS power as I'm running two RF Prime R400-4D amps to two sets of Kappa 50.11cs and one set of Kappa 300M in the dash; I didn't wanna compromise the look of the setup so I moved the second set of tweeters to the A-Pillar in my 2018 Jeep Cherokee; second, they were a steal at the listed price and after redeeming rewards I paid next to nothing; third, I wanted balance in the sound coming from the back to the front as I am running soft dome in the front and hard dome in the back; these speakers do the job just fine and for the price point they can't be beat!

Pros: Fit perfectly into the rear hatch location in the Jeep that I never knew about

Cons: I'd be hard pressed to find one in these; fills out the sound nicely!

Works perfectly! Had to get clever with the harness and a bit of soldier work, but it works great in my 2014 corolla!

Pros: Great clear highs!

Cons: Documentation in packaging could have been better (borderline irrelevant though)

Amazing improvement from stock speakers - to be expected. Aside from being impressed with the quality and range these speakers are able to put out, I was equally (if not more) impressed with the accessories that come in the box. They allow for an easy custom configuration no matter the install. I was able to maneuver the installation to mimic the exact placement of my stock/OEM tweeters. This allowed for my door to click back in perfectly and allow the sound to project properly.

Pros: Sound quality. Accessories included to custom match installation. Length of wiring. Construction of unit.

Cons: Grills in front of speaker may not be everyone's taste - they also add some overhead space that needs to be taken into account.

Really a nice pair of tweeters. The old ones were ripped out so I never heard what it was like to have them but after I installed, a 100% difference and you can hear the highs now whereas before, I couldn't hear them. Crisp and clean sound.

Pros: easy to install with the provided wire clips

Cons: none

Good quality. Neither Pioneer nor Crutchfield addressed the need to splice these due to the female connector and wiring harness. However, tech support was really helpful.

Features

Tweeter Mounting: The system includes flush mount rings and angled surface mount housings for the tweeters. The angled surface mount housing positions the tweeters at approximately a 45° angle. Bendable brackets are also included for mounting the tweeters in factory locations. Once installed the tweeters do not swivel.

Tweeter Mounting Dimensions:

  Angled Surface Mount Flush Mount
Mounting Height 1.47" 0.233"
Mounting Depth screw depth 0.552"
Frame Diameter N/A 1.955"
Frame Depth 1.785" N/A
Frame Width 1.5" N/A
Cutout Diameter N/A 1.641"

Crossovers: The high pass crossovers are integrated into the included speaker wire. The slope is 6 dB/octave and the crossover point is 3.8 kHz. The capacitors (crossovers) are approximately ½" diameter x ¾" long. The quick slide terminals on the output end of the wire connect to the terminals on the wire attached to the tweeters. One of the terminals is male and the other female, so they only attach to the tweeter wires one way. The black wire with a white stripe is the positive lead.
