Pioneer Premier TS-A633P reviews
I bought these Pioneer speakers to replace some blown JBL P652s speakers in the rear of my del sol, and they are an improvement for sure. The JBLs had amazing highs, but always distorted with a heavy bass kick. I listen mostly to trance and electronic genres and do not have a sub yet, so I was looking for something with a lower frequency response than the JBLs. These speakers don't produce very deep bass, but it is tight with no noticeable distortion even at high volumes. And I spent less $ on these than I did when I purchased the JBLs (also through crutchfield). Oh yeah, the highs and mids are also very clean. I have a Clarion head unit rated at 20w RMS running these. I was debating whether or not to install a separate amp just for my 4 x 6 1/2 components, but decided to focus on engine work first before jumping into a full stereo project. Needless to say the TS-A633P will keep me very happy until I'm ready to map out a completely custom system. Install is a breeze - no custom crossovers or inline conditioners needed. Just + and - hookups and you're good to go.

nice speakers , impressed i will probably buy the same ones but for the door panel. only thing was Crutchfield should tell you to have one of those mini screw drivers. i took the rear seat out and mine didn't fold down so i had to take the bottom and top out, removed brake light , went to remove speakers and couldn't remove two screws because i had a long screwdriver and it hits the back window so there i was sitting with all this stuff disassembleded . : ( dug around for awhile EUREKA found one of those small screwdrivers, but if not i woulda had to drive to store bla bla bla good speakers though and this is second product ive purchased from crutchfied and am very happy with their service

Pioneer Premier TS-A633P install easily in the doors of 2004-08 Grand Prix. The sound is clearer than the factory speakers. I left the factory tweeters in place. Testing the sound between with/without the factory tweeter indicated that the sound would be better with the old tweeters in place. There is a fair amount of bass for a 6-1/2" speaker.

I bought these 6 1/2" speakers to replace the 4" after-market speakers that came with the car (a '73 Mercedes 220). Without major modifications to the rear deck, 6 1/2" were the biggest I could use; they mount under the dash. I was worried about the bass-response these could provide. I'm quite impressed with these little speakers. Certainly no bone-jarring bass response, but excellent for the size. I very noticeable improvement overall. They handle moderate power very well. Volume up / windows down, they sound great. I'd highly recommend the TS-A633P's if you need 6 1/2" speakers.

Great sound quality, installed in a 2005 Suzuki XL-7, they fit perfectly. Did not used the Pioneer speaker covers. Use the Crutchfield speaker adapter to connect to trucks wires, Leads only go one way since one is bigger than the other. The sound is very clear with no distortions great highs and mids.

I bought these speakers to replace the stock speakers in my 2004 Subaru WRX. These speakers were slim enough to install in the doors without major modifications (speaker adapters were required to fit factory mounting locations) and allowing a stock look to the interior. The sound is amazing - it almost sounds like you are physically at a concert or live venue. The only complaint I had was that there were little to no instructions as to which speaker lead was positive or negative. A little searching on the web let me to some instructions that solved that issue (the smaller speaker wire plug is negative).

Woofers: Each speaker features an IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) cone woofer interlaced with carbon graphite, basalt, and long aramid fibers. This IMPP cone design provides the strength and rigidity that powerful bass requires. The high-density, compressed internal architecture is resilient and transfers sound very quickly. The result is full-bodied, rich sound.
Surrounds: For durability and a smooth response, each woofer uses a rubber surround.
Magnet/Voice Coils: Each woofer features a 9-ounce strontium magnet with heat-resistant polyester-Imide resin coated voice coil wires. This allows the voice coil to handle more heat, improving input power handling as well as reliability.
Midranges: Each speaker has a 1-5/8" paper cone midrange for accurate response with low distortion. The midrange has a 0.7 ounce strontium magnet.
Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 3/8" dome tweeter made from PET silver film for crisp, clear highs.
Mounting: The speakers can be mounted in standard 6-1/2" openings, 4-hole 6-1/2" openings, or 6-3/4" openings.
Warranty Note: The included warranty card indicates a 1 year parts and labor warranty for Pioneer Premier brand loudspeakers. The warranty is extended to 3 years if the speakers are installed by a Pioneer Premier dealer. However, Pioneer has extended the warranty to 3 years for all Premier brand speakers purchased from Crutchfield, regardless of who installs them.
