The foamed IMPP woofer projects full, strong bass to provide more musical depth than factory speakers can generate. The PET tweeter and supertweeter put excitement into every high notes, while well-clarified mids are the order of the day with the Pearl Polycarbon balanced dome midrange.

A durable butyl rubber surround protects this speaker against UV rays raining on your rear deck. Add a deep, non-resonant basket and and latex damper, and there's no doubt that this speaker is the total package.

Features

Foamed IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) Rigilite Composite Cone Woofers: The composite cone woofers are constructed from Foamed IMPP (Injection Molded Polypropylene) Rigilite. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. In addition, the cones are lightweight and rigid for decreased distortion and superior bass response.

Butyl Rubber Surrounds: For a smoother response and improved durability, the woofers use butyl rubber surrounds.

2-3/8" Foamed PPC (Pearl Polycarbon) Balanced-dome Midranges: Each speaker features a 2-3/8" Foamed PPC balanced-dome midrange for smooth mids.

1-5/8" PET Cone Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 1-5/8" PET (silver film) cone tweeter for crisp, clear highs.

3/4" PET Dome Super Tweeters: Each speaker has a 3/4" PET dome super tweeter.

Glass-Imide Voice Coil Bobbin: Each speaker has a Glass-Imide Voice Coil Bobbin for higher power handling.
