About the Pioneer TS-D10LS2

Solid bass for a limited space
Solid bass for a limited space
Great bass is all about power, and Pioneer created their D-Series subs with that thought in mind. They built their TS-D10LS2 10" shallow-mount subwoofer to handle up to 350 watts RMS, while it dishes out impressive low-frequency punch. This sub features an injection-molded polypropylene cone that's impregnated with Aramid fibers so it can handle heavy performance demands with precision. A butyl rubber surround supports the woofer during cone excursion so you'll get accurate, hard-hitting bass notes even when the music's turned up loud. And with a mounting depth of only 3-5/16", this sub will fit into spaces regular subs can't.
Add some boom to your daily drive
If your vehicle's audio system is sounding a little anemic, this potent low-profile Pioneer sub can remedy that situation, bringing out all the power in your music by filling in the lowest frequencies. This sub's 2-ohm impedance is useful for getting the most out of your mono amp, or for building multi-sub installations. Power up one or two of these subs with a nice amp, and you'll understand that any kind of music is better with great bass.

Features
Woofer Cone: Pioneer uses aramid fiber interlaced injection molded polypropylene (IMPP) for the cone, making it more rigid than polypropylene alone.
Terminals: The spring post terminals will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs, or bare wire up to 8 gauge.
Sealed Box Volume: Pioneer recommends a sealed enclosure with an internal volume between 0.35 ft³ and 0.7 ft³, with an ideal volume of 0.6 ft³. Sealed enclosures provide the most control over the woofer, will handle a lot of power, and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable to all types of music.
Ported Box Volume: The recommended ported box volume ranges from 0.5 ft³ to 0.7 ft³, with the ideal size being 0.6 ft³, using a single 3" diameter x 7½" long port. Ported (or vented) enclosures typically provide better overall efficiency than sealed, maximizing bass output for a given amplifier.
Measurements: When mounting the woofer without the trim ring, the dimensions change as follows:
- Mounting Height: 0.534"
- Flange Height: 0.2"
- Frame Diameter: 10.3"

Great sub for the price. Pioneer has been around for many years and is a trusted brand. I have it in a very small tight area of my Jeep. It's powered by a 400w amp and it hits great. All it needs is a grill for protection.
