Product Research

Features

Woofers: Each speaker has a mica-reinforced IMPP (injection-molded polypropylene) woofer. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness to improve linearity and clarity. Additionally, the cones are lightweight and rigid to decrease distortion.

Surrounds: The woofers use rubber treated cloth surrounds for improved durability.

Tweeters: Each speaker features a 1-3/16" PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) balanced dome tweeter for crisp, clear highs.

Mounting: The speaker baskets have multiple mounting holes and will easily fit standard 3-hole 6-1/2 applications and Ford's 4-hole 6-1/2 applications. They also have mounting ears to fit standard 4-hole 6-3/4 applications, but using a speaker baffle is recommended to seal the inner ring of screw holes.

Customer Q&A

4 questions already asked

Q
What gauge wire should be used with these speakers?
[ Sean Majoros  Jun 15, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
The heavier the gauge, the farther you can go and the more power you can send. The thicker the wire, the less resistance you have. I'd go with as heavy as you can up to 16.
[ Robert T.  Jun 15, 2019 ]
Q
Will I be able to put the grille back over the speakers to make them not show. So it looks stock?

[ Logan Grant  Mar 07, 2019 ]
A
Yes you can the speakers are a touch bigger then factory but you can make it all work so it looks all factory with out any cutting or any customizing just have to center the speaker in the hole
[ Michael  Mar 07, 2019 ]
A
Yes the fit behind door panels just like stock speakers
[ Daniel  Mar 07, 2019 ]

[ Kelsie  Mar 07, 2019 ]
A
What vehicle are you installing the system in?
[ Travis  Mar 07, 2019 ]
Q
magnet size? They used to tell you the woofer magnet size in oz. and the bigger they were the better the bass, generally. What happened to that practice?
[ CHRISTOPHER A  Feb 24, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
New rare earth magnets provide a more efficient and thus better response that traditional magnet profiles, therefore the weight of the magnet is no longer as important as the quality of the magnet and the spider.
