About the Pioneer TS-MR165 Nautica Speakers

If you care enough about music to put a real stereo in your car, there's no doubt you'll enjoy the sound of a well-made pair of speakers when you're on the water, too. These durable 2-way Pioneer TS-MR165 speakers will stand up to the elements and anchor you in sweet sound. The extra-large 7" poly woofer cone punches out some impressive bass. Better sound = more fun, and isn't that why you own a boat in the first place?

Product Research

Features

Woofers: Each speaker uses an injection molded polypropylene cone woofer. The woofer, including it's surround, is approximately 6-1/2" in diameter.

Note: On one part of the box, the woofer is correctly identified as a 6-1/2" woofer, but on another part of the box, the woofer diameter is incorrectly listed as 7-1/4".

Tweeters: The speaker uses a 3/4" PPS reflex horn tweeter.

Special Size: This speaker does not conform to the standard 6-1/2" automotive speaker size specifications. It is larger than 6-1/2" car speakers, but not as large as an 8" woofer. The speakers are designed for custom installation in boats.
