Great subwoofer for my boat.
John from St Louis, MO on 7/17/2017
Great bass. I have this subwoofer powered by a bridged 3rd and 4th channel off a Clarion XC2410 amp in my boat which has a manufacturer stated output of 150 amps at 4 ohms. It puts out plenty of bass. boat was vibrating my seat on some more bass heavy songs. The sub looks great too.
Pros: Great sound/bass Nice looking
Cons: None

JL audio all the way!!!!!
charlie g from Maryland on 10/31/2015
I love these subs and everyone in the water around me loves them.I installed 2 of these in my 21' bow rider with a m700/5 JL marine amp pushing them and 6 MX650 (matching grills) and my boat rocks. I've gotten so many people wanting to get on my boat to listen to the music and so many compliments on how deep and clear the bass is even from hundreds of feet away. My gains are only set at slightly past half. They have been installed for a full boating season now with many hours on them and i couldn't be more pleased. Thanks to the people at Crutchfield and JL Audio I have an incredible sound system. No question i will only buy JL Audio products from now on for my cars and boats
Pros: look great sound great grills are tough
Cons: could've used longer mounting screws for my application

"Wow! This sub sounds great!"
Mark T from South Carolina on 5/31/2015
We had this sub installed about a month ago when we overhauled the original stock audio system on our 20' ski boat. Mounted it under the driver's side console just above floor, didn't need a separate box, powered by JL 5-channel marine amp. This sub hits hard! Very happy with the results, you can definitely hear us coming! Our fellow lake rats are blown away at how good it sounds. Top marine grade quality, from pop, rock, to Bassnectar... you won't be disappointed.
Pros: Clean powerful bass Premium quality, marine grade Looks sharp
Cons: A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
