Big tower speakers with brilliant LED light

JL Audio builds these massive 8.8" M6 Series tower speakers to deliver quality sound while you're tearing along your favorite stretch of water. Quality componentry makes a difference

The super-stiff mica-injected polypropylene cones feature durable synthetic-rubber surrounds, while the 1.3" treated silk dome tweeters are mounted directly to the grilles for optimal sound. High-quality 2-way crossovers send the highs and lows where they're supposed to go, so you'll hear all the details of your music, even when you're really moving across the water. Lightweight neodymium magnets deliver heavy sound, but won't mess with your boat's center of gravity.

The coolest cones around

Any speaker with built-in lighting is cool enough, but JL Audio M6 speakers are something special. The unique Transflective™ cones emit a smooth, even glow when the LEDs shine through, but appear silver when the lights aren't in use, so your speakers will look awesome whether the lights are on or off.

The LEDs themselves are mounted to the speaker's frame and illuminate the cone from underneath. This very smart bit of engineering ensures smooth, vibrant light without the “hot spots” you'd notice on lesser LED speakers. It sounds like a subtle difference, but when you see them lit up, you'll understand what a huge improvement this is. You can choose from a variety of fixed lighting colors or control the color and intensity of the lighting with the MLC-RW RGB LED Controller (sold separately).

Built tough for life on the water

Specially tuned for maximum performance, these sleek, sharp-looking speakers use marine-grade stainless steel, synthetic fibers, and UV-resistant polymer baskets to protect their inner workings against humidity and salt. The grilles look terrific, of course, but they're also durable enough to survive in harsh marine environments. On "Sport grille" models, the patented tweeter bridge attaches the tweeter to the speaker frame, which makes it easier to remove and paint the grille.

Don't forget the clamps

Each of the injection-molded enclosures features a decorative, aluminum logo cap on the end opposite the speaker, and is designed to mate with a JL Audio clamp system (sold separately). The speaker wire exits through the center of the mount, so it stays high, dry, and out of sight.
