I love this stealthbox. I have two and have installed 6 others. This fits perfectly in an unmodified and undamaged Ram. The only problem with fitment was in a friend's truck. Come to find out, he bought the pickup used and it had been in an accident. Getting new brackets from Dodge took care of the problem. Anyone having problems with installation should look at their vehicle and not Stealthbox.

The absolute worst craftsmanship I've ever seen. You'd think for the price that it would be a perfect fitting, no hassle amazing product. I had to cut, modify and drill both side brackets just to get it close enough to bolt together. The holes were as much as 1/2" off. All said and done the only redeeming factor and the reason for the 3 stars was the sound quality. It sounds fantastic and hits hard. If I were to do it again I'd probably save $300+ and make my own box that actually fits and buy the sub a la cart .

The stealth box is the worst fitting box i have ever installed. Needed to buy longer bolts to even get the threads started, 3 out of 8 bolts lined up. Then i had to drill and cut the factory brackets to get the bolts to line up. Other than that it is one of the best sounding subs for the size.
Pros: Great size and sound
Cons: Very poor craftsmanship on the box

I have installed many full blown car audio systems and several of them have been in this particular body style truck. I have not found a better sounding solution to putting a subwoofer in this truck without ruining seating capacity in the back seat. I had an older model with a 12w3v2 several years ago and ended up selling the sub that came with the stealthbox and adding an Eclipse aluminum sub because it sounded so much better than the JL on the lower end. I just recently purchased one of these enclosures with the v3 sub and no longer feel the need to swap out the sub for anything else...this sounds amazing in all frequency ranges! Even if you listen to hip hop and expect alot of door shaking bass...this tiny little box with a single 12" sub will do it! Honestly, for the price, this is the easiest and cheapest way to go for these trucks. To top it all off...these subs don't require a ton of power, I'm thrilled with the sound with 300 watts of clean Class D power, which is pretty much what JL recommends.
