Ok if you want 2 star bass
AJ from Front Royal, VA on 12/18/2017
This is an "ok" option and it is currently the only option for Corvette owners, unless you want to install a large pre-made box that won't look good in your ride, or pay close to $3000 to have one professionally built. Mine has a NASTY VIBRATION to it, when you really pump the power to those woofers, and I always end up sacrificing the level of base I want, for better sound quality overall. Also, JL used the wrong color of carpet! IT does not match at all: It's a light/medium gray and does not provide any "stealthiness" as it sticks out like a sore thumb. Didn't get it right JL AUDIO, especially not for this price.
Pros: looks nice, would be sweet if it actually looked factory with the same color carpet
Cons: sound is "ok".Box might have a crack or something wrong with it as it vibrates in the thin area between the woofers. Carpet doesn't match the carpet color at all....not even close.

Save your money

Installed this in my 2016 corvette. The color of the box was alot lighter than my interior. The Bose factory stereo sounds great already. The box actually takes away from the quality sound and drowns it with a deafening base. It gave me an immediate migrane.
Pros: Crutchfield's return policy
Cons: Pricey, ruins the factory quality sound.

Nice performance and looks

I bought an "open box" JL stealthbox for my C7 vette and saved ~$300 off MSRP. I was pleasantly surprised on how well it sounds. I'm pushing ~500 RMS and the bass is way more than I expected. I was using a single 10" JL 10W3v3 corner sub and this dual thin woofer setup blew it away. I know its pricey but the look, construction, performance is more than I expected...glad I got this instead of hand fabricating another fiberglass sub box. Go ahead, get one!
Pros: materials, construction, form, fit and function
Cons: A little tricky to get in the car but once you figure it out...its relatively easy. Be careful not to damage wheel well plastic panels with the installation brackets while placing the box in the car.
