I've had this Stealthbox long enough to let it break in and tune the DSP. Previously, while I saved up to afford this box, I had a 12" Infinity shallow mount in a box I built myself (a very good one too). The Infinity rounded out the bass well, and you could feel the music, but NOTHING like this JL. Of course each of the 2 JL 12's have about double the cone excursion (Xmax) that the Infinity had, so it wasn't surprising. I'm powering this with an AudioControl LC-1.800 and it absolutely SLAMS. With the Infinity I had boosted the low frequencies, with this box I had to flatten the curve because the bass was too much. My go to track to test mid bass and low end is "One" by Metallica from the "And Justice For All" album. It wasn't recorded with a lot of dynamic impact, so if you can make that thump, you're overachieving. This box makes it feel like Bruce Lee is doing his 3" punch directly into your sternum. I can't recommend this box highly enough for Ram owners. It's a bit pricey, but it is SOOO WORTH IT! I have a Ram Rebel (5th Gen), which has the "cargo tray," essentially a fold down front that allows you to store stuff under the seats. My only complaint is that you'll have to not only remove that, but also order new side brackets (the new ones are about 5" shorter; the JL website has the part #) and remove the locking handle and casing for the cross brace. I felt that keeping the 12" subs over getting the other box with the dual 10" was worth it though.
Pros: Awesome sound quality Build quality
Cons: Requires removing some parts that aren't explained well
