Great replacement for stock speakers on a 2015 Toyota Tundra. Made the stock stereo sound a bit cleaner, just the right amount of high's
Pros: Great sound

2015 Ram 1500
Installed in the dash corners of my 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab with the factory Alpine system.
Pros: Included adapters from Crutchfield snaped right into place and made this literally a 10-minute job with great results. I also disconnected the center speaker, which provides a much clearer "sound stage" separation in the truck.
Cons: None in my case, overall very happy with the product and improvements.

Bought these for my Tundra, knowing they probably wouldn't fit. They didn't, but they did fit in another truck I have. Easy to install and the sound is exactly what you would expect from JL Audio. High quality, excellent sound and a great value.

I used these for my dash speakers in my saab convertible. They are very crisp and produce amazing sound even at high levels. I recommend using bass blockers to get the most out of an unbelievable speaker.

JL audio 3 1/2 inch speakers
JL center channel 3 1/2 inch speaker from Texas on 5/6/2014
2010 Toyota Tundra
Sounds amazing, replaced all speakers in my 2010 Toyota Tundra Crewmax, only needed one to replace the factory dash center channel speaker. Puts the factory speaker to shame, sounds amazing, trying to figure out if it's possible to install the other one next to the existing one on my dash bc I have the extra room. If possible it's going to sound awesome, never knew how much just that center channel speaker made a difference. If your looking for a 3 1/2 inch speaker this is definitely the best one, sound is crisp and amazing
Pros: Sounds amazing compared to stock center channel speaker, best 3 1/2 inch speaker out there. Must buy if your needed to replace one this size
Cons: None

Awesome Speakers

2010 Toyota Tundra
These have great highs! Running off a stock Tundra stereo, and they flat scream! Very little distortion.
Pros: Great sound! Good price! Can be run without a high power stereo and still get great sound.
Cons: Had to cut to fit dash speaker opening to fit. Not the speakers fault.

Installed in the dash of my Mazda CX-9 to replace the factory tweets. What a difference these made! The sound stage is much improved, the sound blends so well. Also installed with 600 Hz Bass Blockers. Again stupid easy install.
Pros: Sound stage is where is should be now. Easy install. Beautiful speakers and sound.
Cons: None

Fits great in the dash, not so much in the back

2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
After replacing the head unit and door speakers in my 2007 FJ cruiser, I realized that the remaining speakers were 8 ohm. After doing some research, it looked like the ones in the dash were an easy replacement with 3" speakers like this - and that they are. After removing the old speaker and the bracket and trimming some plastic off the back of the stock grill, the speaker drops right in, matching the stock bolt holes. Very easy. Looking at the speakers in the rear pillars, the installation appears to be similarly easy. Don't be fooled. As far as sound goes, I used some Bass Blockers to cut out everything under 600 Hz, so these are effectively high mid/tweeters. They are running only off the deck. Sound is clear, perhaps slightly over-bright, but with good reproduction. I think that when I get things re-balanced with some better 6x9s in the doors and a bit of dynamat I will appreciate them more, but for a 3" speaker, they have a surprising amount of oomph.
Pros: Decent size, good high end tweeter function, not too deep.
Cons: Did not fit in the rear pillars like anticipated. Buyer beware - when replacing stock speakers, be careful of what space you have.

2006 Jeep Commander
Installed in 06 Jeep commander, fast easy, great upgrade. I enjoy alot of 90's hip-hop with classic instrumentals and the stock speakers couldn't bring the sound to a good level for me. These definitely did it for me and at a reasonable price considering all the information crutchfield floods us with as far as instructions and wire harnesses. All in all an awesome experience for me I definitely recommend these I had to get 4 door upgrades as well great for this particular vehicle model.
Pros: Easy installation, dramatic sound.
Cons: None

2000 Dodge Stratus
I mean ya.... they are okay speakers... but i cant hear them at all against my subs or any of my other speakers... i would amplify them but the head unit already powers them at their max wattage so I could really take em or leave em. So basically either I've done something wrong, or they just aren't loud enough for me. Didn't fit in my 2000 Dodge stratus very easily; had to work hard to get them in since the screw holes were off-kilter.
Pros: Crisp sound
Cons: Quiet

1984 Chevrolet C Series
I like the sound of the speakers, but it is too tall to fit in the factory spot under the dash in my 1984 Chevy C/10 truck. It makes the dash have a bulge. I'm going to have to modify something. I would have give it a higher rating if it would have fit properly.
