Several uses

You can use this cable for a variety of installations:

1) If you are adding a new 4-channel amp, you can use this cable to run the output signal back up to the radio location to connect to the factory speaker wires.

2) If you are installing a new car stereo, you can use this cable to bypass the factory amplifier, connecting the speaker wires from your new radio to the speaker wires coming out of your factory amplifier.

3) You can use this cable to run the speaker-level and turn-on signals from your factory radio to an amplifier in another location.

Color-coded

Each of the nine wires is color-coded to match the aftermarket standard for wiring, and Scosche uses tin-plated, oxygen-free copper to prevent oxidation and improve overall reliability. Run the EFX 9-Wire Ultra Flex once, and move on! You'll have a kickin' system by lunchtime.

Q
How can I use my old AIWA surround sound speakers in back of my SUV with my new head unit? Or can't do it? Main (bottom) spkr = 6ohms, top 3 =16ohms.

A
We don't recommend installing home speakers into a vehicle as its often impossible to make sure the speakers are being properly powered by the vehicle radio/amp

Q
Why do you sell '9 wire' speaker cable when the speakers have only 2 ie +/- connections?
[ Mitchell  Sep 13, 2020 ]
6 answers
A
The reason there is 9 wires is to give you 2 wires for each of the 4 door speakers and one for power this way you only have the one cable to run from the head unit to the amp instead of running each individual one.

This cable is used to add aftermarket amps or line converters to factory car radio systems. Most newer cars have at least 4 speakers, this makes already 8.It also makes for an easy and clean installation of aftermarket audio equipment
[ Gilbert  Sep 15, 2020 ]

9 wire allows you to have your amp power your speakers instead of the head unit. The 9 wire is the amp turn on/ remote wire
[ Robert  Sep 14, 2020 ]

9 wire conductor for connecting 4 channel amplifier to four speakers and one blue wire included for amp remote I used this wire to connect four Channel amplifier all the way up to behind head unit and use factory wiring to run speakers
[ Hans  Sep 14, 2020 ]
A
For remote turn on wire
[ Erick  Sep 14, 2020 ]

2 for left front speaker, 2 for right front speaker, 2 for left rear speaker, 2 for right rear speaker = 8, plus one more for amp turn on. I used this cable to go from the OEM head unit in the dash to the trunk to power a 4 channel amp using its high level inputs.
[ JOE  Sep 14, 2020 ]
Q
How many watts can I run from amp to dash location 55 , 75, 100?
[ Charles  May 02, 2020 ]

A
I can say that I have 75 watts going through this same gauge wire with ease. I was very impressed with this wire
