About the EFX GM Post Standard Battery Terminal

New battery terminal accommodates more connections

You want to add an amplifier to your GM vehicle's audio system, but there's no room at the battery terminal for any more connectors. Replace your GM's side-mount battery post with this terminal from EFX, which will accept all of your vehicle's factory wiring plus the ring terminal for an amp. This 1-3/8" heavy-duty chrome-plated brass post can be used on either positive or negative battery terminals. Warranty: 1 year.

Perfect

ANTHONY from Alamogordo, NM on 3/8/2019

Works perfect. Picture doesn't show it's a bolt going into a bolt. I assumed that but you can't tell. I could have asked but it had to work somehow.

Pros: Fits

Cons: Picture

This worked awesome for adding a lightbar and amp into my Tahoe.

Pros: Worked as intended

Cons: Dropped it by accident which caused the threads to break in my battery.

Exactly what you need

Eric from Hartland, MI on 5/21/2018

Got this for the amp install on my 2005 Chevy Silverado Z71 Crew Cab. The OEM positive battery terminal is housed in the red plastic housing, but that housing is somewhat flexible so just use your hands and work the OEM portion out... it's doable, trust me. Once that's out, you can pop this one right in its place. No tools needed. Couldn't imagine the BS I'd have need to have dealt with without having this product. The size of the outer bolt (that you use to attach the terminal) was exactly the right size to fit with the Crutchfield 4 gauge amp kit. Both this, and that kit are 5 star products. Don't even think about not getting this, trust me.

Pros: Exactly what you need

Cons: Zero. Buy it.

Save your knuckles

If you own a GM/Chevy truck with the battery posts on the side and you want to add an amplifier to your stereo this is a must. Otherwise, be prepared to bust up your knuckles and make sure the kids aren't around because you'll be using "choice words" that you won't want them to hear.
