About the EFX GM Post Long Battery Terminal

New battery terminal accommodates more connections

You want to add an amplifier to your GM vehicle's system, but there's no room at the factory battery terminal for any more connectors. Replace your GM's side-mount battery post with this terminal from EFX, which will accept all of your vehicle's factory wiring plus the ring terminal for your audio gear. This 1-15/16" heavy-duty chrome-plated brass post can be used on either positive or negative battery terminals. Warranty: 1 year.

Customer Q&A

Q
Crutchfield asked: Why did you buy this?
A
I have gm vehicle and I have amplifier and this long terminal has bolt that screws in to end to fasten your wire from amplifier to. It keeps everything nice and tight. I love it so much I wanted to buy another one just in case I need it. [ RICHARD M  Nov 22, 2018 ]
A
Seems like decent replacement for the current, corroded one. Especially since these are providing a path to my amplifier, too. [ Jerry  Oct 20, 2018 ]
A
Standard GM side terminals strip out the first 2 threads when you use gold terminals and there is not enough thread to accommodate added terminals like amps and the big 3. [ Alan  Sep 26, 2017 ]
