Awesome Interface

I kept the stock Bose Amp in my car and without this interface I wouldn't have been able to. Being able to up the gain screw adjustments was a must to get the sound and volume. I wouldn't even have known that I needed this if it was not for Crutchfield's help.

Pros: Easy hook up.

Cons: set screws have to be handled with care easy to break.

Works great missing some information such as on the amp and antenna relay switch the plug is marked "remote only" making you think it's the receiver for the remote but it's actually the antenna remote and amp, should be clarified better and the adjustment screws for the amp should not be so easily stripped

Pros: Fits great

Cons: Strip easily

This wiring harness made the install of my new Pioneer deck that much easier. This harness was specifically made for those cars with the Bose stereo package. I was able to connect my stock Bose amp with out cutting into the vehicle harness.

Pros: Easy installation

Cons:

This product was great. My brother has a 91 Acura, and I bought an aftermarket head unit to put in it, and this integration adapter worked perfectly. I knew that he had the bose sound system, but this was the perfect fix.

Features

Compatibility: The OEA-4 (model C4HA02) is a non-electronic interface that allows an aftermarket high-power stereo to integrate into select 1987-95 Honda and Acura vehicles with Bose premium factory systems. Please check the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector for compatibility for your vehicle.

Adjustment Gain Controls: Four rotary gain controls (front left, front right, rear left, rear right) are located recessed inside the adapter chassis. There is a small flat-blade screwdriver attached to the adapter's case, and its use is recommended. The controls are very fragile and sensitive, and a slight adjustment will change volume dramatically.

Harnesses: The adapter's input wires are approximately 5-1/2" long with bare ends. These splice to the new receiver's speaker output wires. The adapter's output wires are approximately 11" long and terminate into a white rectangular Molex plug. There are 5 additional wires coming from the white plug that should be spliced to the receiver's wiring harness. The Molex plug end is molded to match with the factory wiring harness. Crimp caps are provided for wire splices.
