About the EFX Delta Quad Fused Distribution Block

Keep your high power wiring safe, secure, and neat

Your high-powered, multi-amp system needs wiring hardware that passes electrical power and signal without loss, and holds your wires safely, securely, and neatly, even in the less-than-ideal mobile audio environment. For those of you into extreme SPL systems, EFX's Delta quad fused distribution block lets you take two 1/0-gauge power wiring runs from the battery and distribute the power from each wire through two fuses (not included) and on to a total of four connections for your amplifiers' 4-gauge power wires.

Grounding option

One of the input-output pairs of connections can be used for ground distribution as well — with power flowing one direction through the distribution block while ground goes the other way. You replace two fuses with a jumper plate (included) making direct connections between those inputs and output. Then, the 4-gauge ground wires come from the amps while the 1/0-gauge goes to your vehicle's chassis ground. A tough polycarbonate cover protects the electrical connections from dirt and weather.

Product Research

Features

Overview: The EFX Delta series DUDB4 mini-ANL distribution block that can be configured for power or ground distribution, or both combined. If features two input that can accept either 0 or 4 AWG wire, and four outputs that can accept 4 or 8 AWG wire. Removable inserts allows for a snug fit with either size wire. The DUDB4 can be configured as a single power input splitting to four outputs, or both power and ground on two inputs splitting to two outputs each. The distribution block features a translucent, impact-resistant polycarbonate cover with push-tabs on each end for easy cover removal. The DUDB4 includes four holes in the base for mounting, either with the 2 provided screws or with wire ties (not included).

Note: Mini-ANL fuses are not included and must be purchased separately.

Set Screws: Input and output connections are secured with hex-socket set screws. A 3mm Allen key is provided for the two 0/4 AWG input connections as well as the four 4/8 AWG output terminals.

Optional Ferrules: Install Bay (Metra) wire ferrules (sold separately) are designed to crimp onto your power, ground, or speaker wire and provide a clean, solid connection to your terminal block or amplifier with set-screw connections. Bare wire is slid into the length of the ferrule and then crimped onto the wire. This keeps all copper strands held tightly together, with no splaying while tightening the terminal connection. Install Bay wire ferrules can be found here.

Customer Q&A

4 questions already asked

Q
How is this power block mounted ? or does it free float?
[ Jeff  Jun 03, 2021 ]
1 answer
A
There are mounting holes and screws on the bottom of the plate.
[ Samuel  Jun 03, 2021 ]
Q
Can i use this on my battery to fuse my 4ga (big 3), 8 ga (75x4 amp) , 8 ga (hard wired fuel pump)?
[ Andrew  Nov 30, 2020 ]
1 answer
A
The wires that are included in the Big 3 upgrade should not be fused and this will not work. A better solution is to get a battery terminal with inputs for those wires allowing inline fuses/fuse holders to be used for the amp and the hardwired fuel pump. Here are the battery terminals we offer: https://www.crutchfield.com/g_713/Battery-Terminals.html

Q
What is the smallest gauge wire the block can reliable accept on the input and output?
[ Mark  Sep 15, 2020 ]
4 answers
A
8 gauge
[ CAROL  Sep 15, 2020 ]
A
1/0 gauge I have that already
[ elona  Sep 15, 2020 ]
A
With the reducers left inside where the wires go, the tightening screws will basically tighten all the way down to the bottom of the reducer. You could basically put 0 gauge all the way up to 20 gauge on the input and then 4 gauge all the way to 20 gauge on the outputs.
[ CHANCE  Sep 15, 2020 ]
A
Comes with 4 gauge reducing Ferrels for the input side and 8 gauge reducers on the output. Opposite is true if using as a ground block.
