Great Fabric Tape

Used it on my metal clip for mounting my Alpine radio's microphone so it wouldn't rattle up against the metal roof. Works great and no rattling. Great adhesion and great coverage on the fabric. It is very strong. Will be wrapping my radio wiring harness with it, as well as my backup camera, speakers, and amp wiring harnesses. Will buy again.

After years of zipties that snag as you pull wires, I finally learnt about this stuff. Not gummy and rigid like electrical tape. Goes on pretty clean and makes life a lot easier. Not a replacement for electrical tape, but a good way to bundle wires together

My new favorite stuff!

This is probably my new favorite prep material. I am a neat freak when it comes to wiring but I don't really care for wire looms and it's easy to cinch a zip tie down too tight. This fabric tape is perfect. It has great adhereance, very soft and pliable. When I'm done soldering and sealing a new harness, I can wrap it up in some of this and everything looks neat and profession. Love it. Will definitely be buying it again.

Great tape. I bought 3 rolls. It tears easy. It is kinda reusable (assuming you don't sticky to sticky). I've had to re-work a couple harnesses and was able to reuse a few pieces. I will definitely be buying more of this tape with more projects coming

Really great tape

I've been looking for this tape for quite some time and finally found it at Crutchfield. Worked perfectly, far easier to work with than electrical tape and it doesn't make your hands messy. It's also much less effected by heat. Made my new head unit install easy compared to using using plastic wire ties.

Having used electrical tape in the past, this stuff initially feels like it it won't stick for long. Unrolls off the spool easier than electrical tape, but it holds well to the wire and itself and doesn't seem to get gooey with heat and time. Had to re-train myself to not pull on the tape as it doesn't stretch like electrical tape. Probably going to buy more.

If you're doing any serious wiring you need this. I ran video from back hatch of a CRV to center console, and this makes securing the wiring to the rest of the car's wiring harness a cinch. It's sticky enough to securely attach video co-ax cable to a wire for fishing the wire through tight spots in the frame too. Good stuff, buy it and do the job right.

Great tape. Wrapped all of my connections to to be safe. Very strong and flexible. Adhere's to itself very well. Would recommend for sure. Like it much better than the plastic electrical tape.

This cloth tape is easy to use and does a much better (and more professional-looking) job than vinyl electrical tape. I used a single roll to cover my wiring harness and the full 20+ feet length of my backup camera lead. Still had plenty of tape left in the roll. Also used it to temporarily tape wire to the snake rod for pulling the wire through tight spots.

Let me just start by saying that this, is a definite need for anyone who wants to keep any of their wiring jobs looking factory and like it was done by a professional. I cannot believe that I have gone for so long without this when installing any of my own car audio. It keeps the wires tidy, and still maintains the flexibility needed when trying to hide wires in tight places, much like behind an aftermarket head unit. I honestly can't stress how much I recommend this!

If you're buying this, as a substitute for Tessa brand tape, it's not the same. It does work, and offer some flexibility, but it isn't nearly as soft on the exterior, so it may make some slight noise if rattled. But works for what you'll use it for on harnesses.
