Scosche KA2411B Dash Kit
Troy from Mansfield, TX on 2/10/2023
Mounts the head unit at a major downward angle. Since everything is plastic and thin, you can feel the head unit move every time you touch it. Otherwise, it works.

Better than Metra

Best dash kit you'll find. Bought in comparison to the Metra dash kit and, I'll tell you, this is worth the extra money.

Poor Fit
Samuel from Mesa on 7/31/2020
2012 Kia Optima
Leaves huge gaps around the bottom of my Pioneer DMH 4660 NEX, really poor fit with the dash trim as well. Uneven edges and gaps, just looks like trash. Get the Metra dash kit, looks much cleaner.
Pros: Not much
Cons: See review

Stereo install at home
Crutchfield customer from Clarksville, TN on 3/23/2020
2012 Kia Optima
Made the stereo install a breeze and looked very professional. Saved myself a load of money doing it this way. Just took my time, which I was able to afford.
Pros: I did alone with no professional installation help
Cons: None that I could find

Fits perfectly
Drew from Houston, TX on 1/20/2019
2013 Kia Optima
Worked really well just not as solid of a feel when you touch the head unit, when compared to factory, because of the plastic composition of the adapter brackets.
Pros: Fits perfect, clean, and looks factory!
Cons: Slighg flimsy feel.

Looks nice, but mounting brackets are too flexible
Crutchfield customer from Raleigh, NC on 11/27/2018
2013 Kia Optima
Looks nice and matches the surrounding factory dash well. However, the mounting brackets are not great. They're made from flexible plastic, so when I press buttons or operate the touchscreen on my head unit, it gives a little, giving the whole thing a cheap tactile feel.

Fits perfect. I don't like the way the headunit is tilted but that's the cars fault not the surround

Scosche KA2411B Dash Kit
DylanB from Affton, MO on 8/26/2014

Item was well made, worked perfectly, and matched the dash color perfect. Would recommend to anyone looking to put in a Double din radio to their Kia Optima
Pros: easily fit in dash color matched
Cons: leaves just a small space below radio that can be seen through if hit with light

Kia dash kit
Ric r from Phoenixville pa on 3/31/2014
The kit made this install so easy. I am a little uncertain about the plastic mounting brackets that came with it but seem to strong enough once everything went together. I have been a Crutchfield customer a long time. Once again they came thru with the products and support that I have come to expect from them
Pros: Looks great
Cons: Plastic mounting brackets

Beware of Your Receiver Size!
Josh from Suffield, CT on 6/13/2013
2011 Kia Optima
Start with the good: This adapter looks really nice in the dash once installed. Smooth look to it, blends in perfect with the factory dashboard and makes your car unique for a Double DIN receiver. The bad: Beware of the size of your unit. I purchased an Alpine Nav receiver, and turns out I have to return the Alpine. In order to insert a CD/DVD into that receiver, the screen moves up/down/out. This dash kit will not allow for a moving screen. Because it is such a tight fit, I can hear the Alpine trying to move it's screen when I hit the eject/tilt button, but the gears are just grinding as it is stuck on this dash adapter. I want a Nav receiver, so unfortunately now I am forced to return this Alpine unit, and get another Nav receiver that has the CD-slot on the top of the unit, rather than behind a moving touchscreen. If I have problems with that as well, I will post for sure. But do NOT expect to put this adapter into your car and then enjoy a full touchscreen radio with a moving screen to access the CD-slot. Too tight of a fit - that screen will not move.
Pros: Smooth, looks nice in dash, blends in with factory just fine.
Cons: Size constraints on your receiver.
