Features

Magnetic CD Mount: The MagicMount CD (MAGCD2) safely secures your mobile device to your vehicle's front-loading CD player slot. The mount simply inserts into the front-loading CD slot of your in-dash head unit, while powerful magnets and a sleek cradle-free design attach your smartphone, tablet, GPS, and other mobile electronic devices safely and securely. A 4-axis mechanism allows for angle adjustment; position your device's screen vertically or horizontally, as well as tilt the device up or down for optimal viewing.

  • CD Mount Dimensions: 4.4375" (w) x 0.1875" (h) x 0.8125" (d)
  • Magnetic Mount Dimensions: 1.75" (w) x 1.8125" (h) x 0.375" (d)

Two MagicPlates (Small/Large): Two magnetic plates (called "MagicPlates") are included; one small for smartphones or smaller GPS units, and one large for tablets or larger GPS units. On the back side of the MagicPlate is 3M tape which allows it to adhere to the back of your mobile device or case. The front side of the MagicPlate is magnetic and allows your device to attach itself to the installed vent mount. Just hover your device near the magnetic surface and it instantly locks securely in place.

  • Small MagicPlate Dimensions: 1.125" (w) x 1.25" (h) x 0.0625" (d)
  • Large MagicPlate Dimensions: 1.75" (w) x 2.625" (h) x 0.0625" (d)

Protective Film: The MagicMount CD (MAGCD2) comes with a protective film. The protective film can be used when you plan to directly attach a MagicPlate to the back of your smartphone or tablet. The film is designed to assist in plate removal should you decide to do that at some point in the future. Usage of the film is not required, but it is recommended for direct applications to your smartphone or tablet device.

Compatibility: The powerful earth magnets of the MagicMount CD (MAGCD2) hold your device securely in place and are 100% safe for smartphones, tablets, GPS navigators, and other mobile electronic devices.

Note: The MagicMount CD (MAGCD2) does not work with iPod Classic or other hard drive devices. The strong magnetic fields produced by these Neodymium magnets is enough to damage hard drive devices.

A
Just unscrew the plastic "nut" nearly all the way and the ball will pop in with a little pressure.
[ Mark  Dec 08, 2017 ]
A
The flat part is inserted in to the cd slot. There is a screw that tightens so it will stay. Hope this helps
[ Jan  Dec 07, 2017 ]
A
You stick it in and twist the knob
[ Charles  Dec 07, 2017 ]
A
If I remember correctly it comes with the screw piece in place, you have to unscrew it..and put the ball part of the magnet through the tightener....then push the magnet holder onto the slot part....then tighten
[ Brian  Dec 07, 2017 ]
A
Oh...hold on.....sorry, you just push it in. Trust me it will fit.
[ Brian  Dec 07, 2017 ]
A
You make sure the flaps are completely horizontal...by twisting the screw. Once it is straight, insert it into your cd slot. Then twist the screw to make the flaps move to secure the mount. Works great I have two of them.
