Overview: The Scosche MagicMount Magnetic Rear View Mirror Mount (MAGRVMB) clamps to your vehicle's rear view mirror, and has a bendable boom arm for mounting your device. MagicMount devices conveniently mount your smartphone, portable GPS, or other mobile device using a strong magnet without the need for a device cradle. The mount features an adjustable clamp that fits onto the back of your rear view mirror. Its 5" bendable boom arm can be positioned in any way for best visibility. The magnetic portion of the MagicMount has a ball socket joint lets you tilt and swivel your device in multiple ways.

MagicMount System: The MagicMount system consists of the magnetic "MagicMount" and a thin metal MagicPlate that adheres to the back of your device. Two MagicPlates are included: a small one for smartphones and small GPS units, and a larger one for tablets or larger GPS units. The MagicPlate adheres to the device with dual-sided "3M" tape. Simply hold your device near the MagicMount and the magnet firmly attaches to the device. A small clamp on the back of the MagicMount can be used for cable management.

Installation: The Magnetic Rear View Mirror Mount features a heavy duty clamp for attaching it to your mirror. The clamp is adjustable to accommodate mirrors of all sizes (see below). The jaws of the clamp are secured over the mirror with a strong locking lever. The rubber pads that hold onto the mirror can be adjusted to the thickness of the mirror. The 5" long, 7/16" thick boom arm can be bent over 90° so you can position your device in any direction.
