This works like it should. I'm not crazy about the smooth plastic look for the top piece when you take out your upper Command screen, but what else would they do?

Unfortunately it's the only product on the market. The color is not even close to the interior. The surface is smooth compared to the original textured one. You have to be extremely careful while installing and adjusting the stereo. I broke two hooks instantly while making adjustments on the new radios position.

Purchased a Kenwood DVD/HD Radio unit. Purchased the Scosche as it was the only dash kit available for the Mercedes-Benz C300. As the first reviewer states. The top mount (sliding cover)where the old video screen used to be was better to keep in as it was more more authentic, OEM looking then the Scoshe top mount. The Scosche mount looked too plain and the relocation of the heater buttons just seemed out of place sitting up so high on the dash. My whole dash has a grainy leather texture, (plastic), and the Scosche is flat black smooth with not texture. So it kinda looks odd. But I suppose one can get used to it. I on the other had just put my OEM top mount back in and forgone the heater buttons. The seat heater buttons are just lay inside the dash. I won't need heated seats in Mississippi anyways. As far as fit and tolerance, the Scosche is pretty good. The Scosche top mount has a bit of a contour which marries up the Mercedes dash, as it also has slight contour in the center of the dash. The Mercedes dash and the Scosche top mount don't quite match up. It's close, after awhile you could forget that the mismatch is there. It's not that noticeable. But I have OCD I think and my focus is that I am always looking at it. So that is the other reason I went back the the OEM top mount. As the first reviewer said, it makes a good sunglasses holder. (Promise to get pics of top mount when I update.)
Pros: Only one on the market for the C300 Mercedes-Benz. Pretty good fit and tolerance.
Cons: Smooth finish look, when I think most vehicles has a grainy leather texture look. Quirky location of seat heater buttons.

Almost perfect fitment. Did not require any cutting or sanding to fit. But it does go to luxury car dash so I would have expected a little bit better fitment. Also the part that relocates the buttons to the top part of the dash is so ugly. Decided to not use that part and keep the hole up top where audio20 screen used to be. Now I use that cubby for sunglasses
Pros:
Cons: Ugly option to relocate the heated seat sunshade buttons.
