Great cell phone backup charger
Crutchfield customer from Sandwich, MA on 12/17/2021
The area that I live in tends to have several, usually brief, power outages in the winter and hurricane seasons. I wanted to ensure that I would be able to keep my cell charged for at least a couple of days without having to go out to the car. This works great for that purpose! It charged a dead cell as fast as the regular wall charger would. I got about 1 and 1/2 charges from the pack before it needed to be recharged. Enough for my needs. I also tried its jump-start capabilities on my V-6 Tacoma that hadn't been driven in a couple of months and had a low battery - it worked fine to assist starting it. I'm not sure it really has enough power to have started it if the battery had been completely dead though. The power pack is compact and well made with a rugged aluminum case. It comes with a nice carrying case to keep the cables & accessories organized and would easily fit in a glove box or storage bin in the car.
Pros: Good for cell phone charging
Cons: Jump-starting is a little weak compared to other products and probably should only be relied on for small 4 cyl engines

I just got these in the mail, so I have not used one to start a car. They are smaller than I expected and could easily be kept in one's glove box or the well where the spare tire lives. The construction is well done.

This is Literally Amazing!!! I am Fortunate to be able to Own such a Useful Device from the "New Technology"that Always Comes in Handy When I Need Some of My Items Charged. It is the Most Useful Device like a 'Power Bank' for So Many Many Items That I need To Get an ^Immediate^Charge, So I Totally Recommend a Scosche, Because When You are in Need for Power to your Devices Right Away, It Does Not Disappoint, And I Stand by this Device, I am Totally Recommending that You Own a Scosche, You Will Not Regret Buying This Power Device, Believe Me!!!
Pros: The Scosche is the Size of a Cellphone, however it is 3/4 of an Inch Thickness, and a little heavier than a Cellphone, and it also has Cables which are included with it.
Cons: Actually I am not really seeing any "Cons", but as I said, it is almost an Inch Thick on each side and a little heavier than your Cellphone, but Well-Worth the Money for such a Useful Device which you will not Regret Owning!
