Simple external level control

This is an easy to use level control. I have it in line between the head unit output and amp input on my subwoofer channel. Works great to reduce bass when you don't want it at as high a level in comparison to the other speakers. All it does is reduce amp input level from its peak, it is not powered and does not increase the output level of any device (which I did not expect it too).

The wireless link worked easily and perfectly to connect my sub across the room. Sound quality and reliability are good. The transmitter and receiver units have lights on them which can show in a dark room. That could be fixed with a bit of tape in the unlikely event it is an annoyance in your darkened home theater. Just a thought.

This is a must-have if using inline with a powerful subwoofer arrangement. Allows you to dial-in the perfect amount of bass with the rest of your system, regardless of the song you are playing. The music sounds so much better when you get the bass level just right!

The switch works very well. The product shipped very fast and was easy to install. Very good quality. I highly recommend to anyone looking to have some control over there bass amp or any amp set up you have. I'm running a factory system and installed a sub and amp in the trunk. This switch helps with adjusting the bass because my amp does not have a remote for it. So I had to keep opening the trunk to adjust the gain. Also when I'm going down the highway with the windows open, I lost a lot of my bass, so having this knob worked out so great because I can turn the amp up more to push more bass out. I found myself working this switch pretty often and I installed it in a spot that I don't have to really reach for it, its right where my hands can get to it very easy.
Pros: Great quality, clicks at mid point so you don't have to guess, saved me the pain of having to pull over to adjust my amp.
Cons: Cant keep my hands off of it, I'm always adjusting. lol

I bought this product hoping to increase volume to my amps. Unfortunately it does nothing. This box is a simple unit to move your volume knob from your head unit to a different location and, simply put, it does not have any gain to your amps or your preamps ..

I am most happy after installing 2 of these controllers, one for the front before the front amp and the other before the rear amp. Really easy to adjust the sound you want from different recordings in my 1969 Camaro SS.
Pros: Works well Easy to install Looks great
Cons: The heads of mounting screws bigger than holes in controller, nothing a quick walk to the grinder could not fix

This was used on the zone 2 output of the M505 Clarion marine stereo. The zome 2 output is fixed volume (full output!) so this knocked the output down so you could listen to a different area on the boat. Easy hook up and mounting, too.
Pros: Ease of installation and performance.
Cons: Had to use different screws to mount.
