Self-drilling screws?

A self-drilling screw has a tip like a drill bit so it can be firmly installed with one motion, instead of needing a pilot hole drilled and threads tapped. You can use a powered screwdriver or a ratchet-type driver to install this ground terminal — it's a lot faster than using a standard screwdriver. Warranty: 1 year.

Best way to get a ground. The three screws means this will never rotate or wiggle.

Pros: Works great. Solid connection.

Cons: Pull the tubing off and use your own heat shrink.

EFX Ultimate Ground Terminal

Works well, the 3 screw design allows more surface contact without allowing the terminal to spin free and become loose.

Pros: better surface contact, less likely to come loose

Cons: would like to have the metal a bit thicker

I love these extra conductive area ground connections! They seem to lower the chance Of alt hum and other bad ground issues! These and big 3 upgrades and good quality copper #0-4 gauge is the only Way to run your aftermarket deck, Amps, speakers, and subs!!

Pros: CheAp, easy to install, nice!

Cons: Sometimes a pain to connect To 4, or 0 ga. Wire lol

Good idea

This was an ok product. When I crimped my 4 gauge wire one of the sides broke. Using right cripper so not sure what happened. The idea is great but I ended up going with a bolt and nut to secure my ground.

Pros: Mine might have been defective as one of the crimping side broke during crimping.

Cons: Easy to brake Thin metal

Just as advertised.

Chocobill from Wisconsin on 3/25/2015

You'll receive what is pictured. You may still wish to use a star-washer beneath the plate to ensure constant ground. The material isn't super-heavy-duty. Depending on where you choose to ground, I'd also be careful to silicone it up so you aren't dealing with deterioration/rust down the line..

Pros: Manufacturing quality looks fine.

Cons: Not super-heavy duty.
