About the Sennheiser e 906

Dial in just the right guitar sound

The Sennheiser e 906 dynamic microphone delivers great sound from guitar amps — especially at close range. The mic's flat front grille is designed to be placed right up to your guitar cabinet. Its supercardioid polar pattern keeps the sound tightly focused, rejecting ambient noise. The e 906 has extremely fast transient response, and delivers full, lively sound. Its selectable presence filter lets you change the character of the midrange response to suit your style of music, from hard-edged rock riffage to mellower blues or jazz.

Here's another bonus: The e 906 also does a great job capturing the snap and punch of a snare drum or tom-tom.

The E906 features a flat shape that's ideal for miking amp faces and includes a 3-position Presence switch to change the sound character with selections being: bright, flat, and dark.
