I am a huge Garmin fan and love their products, having used them for many years in both running and cycling. Unfortunately this product falls well short of what I have come to expect from a Garmin product in both quality and performance. The data recording is inconsistent and inaccurate (both bark and tag activity), the software difficult to use (I updated the firmware but the app says that it still needs to be updated), and the collar consistently disconnects from the remote even at very small ranges (4 ft away). The sensitivity to the tag is inconsistent (both distance and correction methods). Any one of these factors can dramatically affect the product's performance, and combined makes this product completely useless for training.

1. They don't include a collar. You can't find collars to fit this at big box pet stores. They are too thick. This was a deal kill. I called Crutchfield for help and they misunderstood my issue and sent my parts I already had. I waited a week for parts to come which was a fail the. I called again and realized they don't include a collar. Spent another 2 hours going to pet store buying a collar, returning it, trying more and failing. The executive who made the decision to not include the collar should be fired. Lost a customer. I don't trust Garmin or Crutchfield.
