Purchased the Dezl 580 and updated the maps. On the first trip to south Ga. It sent us on a state highway and about 4 miles down the road was closed for construction. Had been closed for awhile. Not an easy place to turn around with a 30 ft trailer and a 2 lane highway with narrow shoulders. After that it tried 4 times to get me to go down narrow dirt roads that I had set as not to use them. Told me twice to turn on streets that the names were it even similar to the one on the street sign. VERY DISSAPOINTED. I Got It to avoid these situations. Have a Car Garmin used for years very good directions.

Perfect gps for truckers. The Garmin dezl 580 LMT-S is easy to use and works great, right out of the box. Keeping me on truck routes and avoiding restricted roads is a big help when making deliveries in unfamiliar towns. I really like the voice activation mode which allows me to speak an address for it to find. The lane assist screen is awesome when on a freeway and not always sure what lane to be in for my next turn. This unit actually shows you what lane to be on when navigating freeways. A must have for all drivers.
