I bought this for a deck boat because it had no chart plotter or GPS. Had it installed with transducer while boat was out for maintenance by my local marina. I didn't want a full size unit and needed one drastically for a very busy waterway with many shoals. It works perfect for my needs and saves me from trying to use my cell phone as a Navigation device. Definitely worth 299.99 and comes with transducer. The picture is basically the size of a large cell phone. The bottom view/fish finder is an added bonus.
