Great for larger boats

This wireless camera is small enough to fit just about anywhere and built-in IR LED illumination makes it effective in total darkness, so it's ideal for engine rooms and other out-of-sight areas. You can check out high-quality video on your compatible chartplotter, plus any other chartplotter on the same network. If you own a larger boat, you'll be happy to know that you can pair up to seven cameras and view content from up to four of them at the same time.

Easy to install

Once you wire it up for power, the camera is easy to install, and one-button setup gets it running in a flash. The waterproof design and secure mounting bracket allow you to install it just about anywhere you need to keep an extra eye on things.

Customer Q&A

11 questions already asked

Q
My Garmin GPSmap 5212 is able to connect wireless devices. I dont see it listed in the compatible device chart. Will it work? What are the overall size dimensions?
[ Kevin  Jan 18, 2023 ]
1 answer
A
Greetings Kevin, and thank you for your questions. The GPSMAP5212 is not on our compatibility list, but that does not mean it will not work. We just have no way of verifying yes or no. Garmin has exceptional support, if you call them at 800-800-1020, they should be able to cross reference. The dimensions are Width 2.836", Height 2.583", Depth 2.581".

Q
Will this camera work with a Garmin 743xsv unit?
[ Kevin  Dec 03, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
The 743XSV is not listed with the compatible Garmin chartplotters Kevin, so it does not look like you can use the GC 100 sadly. I couldn't paste the full list here, but if you click on the "details" tab on the GC 100 info page on our website a complete list of units that are compatible and could be used to upgrade is at the bottom of the page. I hope this helps!

Q
Can you record video with this camera?
[ Jackson  Aug 14, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
This camera, and the chartplotters it works with, are only designed to display video from the camera. It will not work to record video. At the time of this post, we do not have any marine grade cameras that can record. This may change in the future and I recommend contacting an advisor by calling 1-800-324-9695 to check.

Q
does the camera have a built in microphone to record audio?
[ david  Jul 06, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
This Garmin GC 100 Wireless marine camera does not have a built in microphone, David. This is probably due to its IPX7 waterproof rating, with no holes on the outside of the case for water ingress. You will have video viewing only with the Garmin GC 100. I hope this helps!
