These power bass speakers are good They sound nice and clear decent bass the adapter Crutchfield threw in was a must for my 2014 Nissan versa had to cut out the inside of the adapter to fit the speaker in it and put the wire in the side slot of the speaker and adapter to plug in to stock speaker plug in the wire adapter plug in they threw In was a perfect fit both adapter's Crutchfield threw in were a must for the installation all in all I'm happy with the speakers. Only down side was the order got cancelled the first time I ordered and and had to reorder and call back in so they wouldn't cancel the order again something about security messer even though I made a account had to call in and confirm so it took from 12/9/22 to 12/30/22 to get them missed Xmas and almost New year kind of sore about that but the products are on point

2 ohm killer replacement speakers

Replaced OEM 6x9s with these. Didn't need the adapter plates and could actually use the original mounts with a minor modification which made the installation seamless. Killer speakers for 2 ohms.

Not as good as my blown factory bose.

These things sounded like they were made by a toy maker. The were supposed to replace my factory Bose in the front door of my Mazda 6. The Bose are 9 inch woofers and the recommended 6.5 inch woofers sounded like tweeters. Hardly no bass at all. I used some epoxy to fix my stock ones.

Nice Sound

Needed replacement speakers for my Versa Note and Crutchfield suggested these. Instant upgrade in sound. Fuller bass with a nice punch. Crisp highs and cleaner vocals. Since my factory stereo is 2 ohm system, I needed the same impedance. This was a easy change to get a much better sound without spending a whole lot. I would definitely use these again if I needed 2 ohm speakers for a facotry system.

This one addition to my 2018 Toyota Tacoma has exceeded my expectations. I got the Premium JBL junk and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a complete overhaul so I got these on impulse buy. I can't believe the instant improvement. Install was fast and easy with the supplied installation kit. Took me about less than an hour to install both speakers in the rear doors. I really love these. I am looking forward to tweaking out my 4th generation Tacoma when it is released in 2024

Good sound, low impedance, standard build quality. Chose these to use with a jbl dsp amp at 2 ohms. Crutchfield did not send out the mounting brackets and harnesses with this speaker which was a little annoying.

Bass bumps!

Purchased two front Powerbass speakers for my fiances Nissan Sentra. I appreciate that Crutchfield sent me extra pieces and attachments that I would have had no idea they would have been needed. Install was quick and easy with the help of some YouTube videos. Now let's get to the speakers... they bump! The bass is Definately powerful and the sound is so much cleaner than the stock speakers the car came with. I highly recommend using crutchfield audio and that is why I am giving 5 stars!

Easy and great upgrade to your OEM speakers.

As for replacing your OEM Nissan Leaf S (Standard head unit w/o premium audio ) speakers due to failure and/or quick and easy upgrade, these speakers fit the bill for sure. In my case my left front tweeter in the OEM speaker had failed. I figured I'd rather not spend the $$ on an actual OEM replacement. It being a pretty bad speaker. These PowerBass OEM compatible two way speakers are great! I replaced all four door speakers and the factory head unit came to life! The bass is enough, considering I have no subwoofer. It's solid and does not distort. The tweeter also is much improved over stock. I can discern much more detail. And while I am not an audiophile, I can sense when the mids are drowned out, and these don't give me that vibe. If you want a quick and easy upgrade from OEM speakers and you want to keep your existing head unit, these are the perfect solution.

My Taco has come to life!

Game changer for the rear speakers in my Tacoma. See picture of these speakers next to the JBL stock 6.5 speaker, which is actually a 3" fisher price speaker. Changing out my stock for these speakers and adding sound dampening to the 4 doors as well has transformed the stock system, thank God.

Upgrade Part 1

So I needed an upgrade from the factory speakers inside of my 2014 Chevy Impala. Not sure why Chevy put speakers in the doors of this car, but this upgrade my rear door sound so much better. It's very noticeable. I havent yet installed the front speakers, but when I do I will leave my review. Only thing I hope is that the speakers I'm having installed doesn't take the bass away.

Amazingly cheap. Bought as a replacement for a Mazda Bose door speakers. Which are subwoofers. These are cheap lightweight, 6.5 inch instead of 9 with next to no bass presence. Not impressed at all.

Speakers sound really good with enough power. I installed these in a mazda with the bose factory system. These are 1 of the few 2 ohm speakers available. They sound good but the bose system does not have enough power to make them as loud as the rest of the speakers

I have a 2014 Tahoe Lt with the Bose 9 speaker sound system. This DOES have the factory subwoofer under the console. I already liked the way my Bose sound system sounded in my 2014 Tahoe. I added 8 tweeters immediately after purchasing the vehicle because I love highs. I replaced all four door speakers with these PowerBass speakers. After I installed these with the provided gear from Crutchfield, I noticed a significant increase in the low end of my sound system. The 8 tweeters I have drowned out any improvement in the high end of these since my sound stage is high in the cabin of my Tahoe. I would recommend these if you don't plan on adding an amp and want better sound, especially in the low end. You're not going to win any shows or go deaf with these but they sound fantastic over the stock Bose door speakers, which I liked a lot. Would buy again. 10/10 recommend. Crutchfield delivered my package 3 days after my order and they kept great communication with me regarding the status of my shipment.

The factory JBL is terrible. It is a 3" tweeter inside of a 6.5" frame. Adding these 6.5" speakers improved overall sound quality. An easy and inexpensive way to improve sound quality.

Well Worth the Money!

I installed these in a 2018 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab. All the factory speakers are 2 ohm and distort fairly easy when turning up the volume. These were the exact fit and ohm rating for the rear doors. The installation was really easy thanks to the wire adapters and speaker adapters Crutchfield included. I was amazed at just how much clearer and undistorted these speakers sound with my factory head unit. These even produce very nice bass when needed.

Nice Replacement for Stock Speakers

I used these speakers to replace the front door lower mid-bass speakers in a 2015 Audi A6 which were dried out and gravelly. The sound system is a 2 ohm so I needed a speaker in that power range. I had to use an adapter ring which Crutchfield sells. Once I removed the old speaker and installed the adapter, for good measure I used the Dynamat 10415 Xtreme Speaker Kit for sound deadening. The sound is great, much better than stock.

way better than stock speakers in 2012 nissan versa

the stock speakers in my car produced sound that sounded like static whenever raised to mid range volume. these speakers fixed that and produce a good amount of bass. very pleased with this purchase, way better than the original speakers. i cant speak on how easy they were to install since i went and got them installed by someone else.

Crutchfield recommended this pair of speakers to replace the front door panel JBL's in my 2001 Toyota Sienna van. Replacements were difficult to find due to the low 2amp output and I was psyched when Crutchfield had a solution . Crutchfield was very helpful! It was a little disappointing that the speakers didn't give me a bit more high end and seemed to output mostly bass. But, in all fairness, I'm not 100% sure if the OEM speakers didn't do the same since they've been blown (removed) for a long time. Packaging was exceptional, and every conceivable piece of hardware and additional wiring that might be necessary was included to meet any individual's mounting requirements. But, that being said, the speaker mounting plate screw-holes didn't quite match up to the door panel mount plate, but not so much that it couldn't be mounted with a little effort. I lost a set of mounting screws at one of the doors and, the screws supplied were a bit long and would require drilling through the door panel, which is really no big deal. But, I opted to come up with my own, shorter set. I'm giving this 3 stars simply because my understanding was that this speaker was "the" speaker designed specifically to replace the OEM JBL's, so I would had hoped for a cleaner install. But, as for the speakers, they sound great and quality-of-construction and attention to detail is really good.
