OE Upgrade for sure! The OE-style fitment was a treat, no need to purchase anything extra, like trim rings, or having to splice wires, it is an exact OE fitment with a greatly improved quality of sound, both powered from head unit, or from a standalone amplifier.
Pros: Exact fitment Better sound than OE Can handle more power
Cons: None

Speakers sound fantastic. Of course I upgraded the head unit from stock as well and HUGE improvement in sound. As usual the Crutchfield installation instructions were great and these speakers were super easy to install. No wire stripping and connecting necessary. Totally plug and play.
Pros: Installation was the easiest I've ever done. Massive improvement over stock.
Cons: Can't think of any.

Good for replacement in Nissan, but not an "upgrade."

2021 Nissan Leaf
Bought these for a 2022 Nissan Leaf S Plus that does not have the Bose system. The stock speakers are bad, and if you are reading this then you already know that the stock speakers lack the clarity in the high notes and sound muffled in the mid and bass. These speakers are perfect fit. All the holes line up and connectors snap without problems. Construction of the speakers looks to be higher quality than the stock speakers. BUT, I am a little disappointed with the sound so far. The high is still lacking the crisp clarity I was hoping to get. The bass is not as important for me, but mid and low do show slight improvement. The less than fantastic sound may be due to me replacing only the fronts and I'm still hearing the bad stock speakers in the back, which are actually positioned closer to my ears than the fronts are. At this point, I'm not sure if it's worth investing this much again for rears when I am already less than impressed with the front replacements.
Pros: Perfect fit in my 2022 Leaf. Quality built
Cons: Sounds just ok.
