Changed out the front speakers in a 2014 Ford Fiesta which were blown. Perfect fit and straight-forward install. The sound quality is noticeably better with these speakers than the factory original ones. Very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Perfect fit Sounds a lot better than factory speakers

2022 Ford Ranger
Bought these for my 2022 Ford Ranger Crew Cab. I do not have the B&O, but I do have the factory 6 speaker system with the 8" display. (If this matters) I purchased these based on reviews I found here. My general assumption based on these reviews was that Bass and overall sound quality would be improved over stock. Visually, these speakers looked to be of better quality and more robust than the factory speakers as well. That combined with the great pricing made me think these were a no brainer. However, I was disappointed with the depreciation in the bass response. I listen to a variety of music that is bass heavy (Rap, EDM, etc). So one of the things I was really looking forward to improve was lost right away. The bass wasn't terrible, but IMO it was definitely a downgrade. With that being said, there wasn't any issues with the install. Fitment was great (with the exception of the foam on the front speakers is a bit thick, and has to "relax" over some time for the door panel to fit properly. This was mentioned in here, so I knew what to expect) The Mid and Hi range sound quality was improved. The tweeters in the front sounded great, and by themselves appear to be a substantial upgrade. Overall, it may just be that these speakers were not for me. I hope you can find this review helpful.
Pros: Improved Mid/Hi sound quality. Good Fitment
Cons: Loss of Bass response/quality

NOT HAPPY. Used these for less than 2 years in a 2nd vehicle that is not used much speakers were not fed anything under 110 hz via crossover with a clean 50 watts rms (no cliping). I replaced all 4 of them today because one sounded terrible, I found that the cone is completely unglued from the surround (see pics) This was not used and abused this is a manufacturing defect! I replaced with 6.75inch kicker cs series that sound better in every way, handle more power, look better, and were cheaper by $80 for 2 sets. I understand that I have 60 days if I am unhappy but I feel betrayed by this transaction.
Pros: Plug and play, but will need to be replaced very often
Cons: Manufacturing defect leading to awful sound (see pics)Looks and feels cheap, plastic speaker basket like oem stock speakers. Price is 75% more than what it should be.

2019 Ford Ranger
These do fit a 2019 Ford Ranger! They were easy to install, did not replace the foam seal around speaker or trim any of the plastic off around the door panel speaker opening. Read a review else where that they would fit without modifying, they do hold the door panel out a little at first. But with time they will seal into place on the foam seal around the speakers. I did not unplug any other wires or the door handles on the door panels , just propped the door panel up, and sit on my butt on the ground and replaced them. The wiring plug is hard push into the speaker plug to get it all the way seated to get the electrical connection. The tweeters are a bit of a pain to get seated into place in the door trim part, took a few minutes each playing with them to get them seated. The only issue is, no where does it tell you which wire is the positive wire on the tweeter in instruction or the positive on the truck, I assumed the copper wire would be the positive wire on the tweeters and plugged it into the wire I assumed was the hot wire on the Ranger! This information would be helpful!!!
Pros: A great upgrade, and easy to install!
Cons: Tweeter wiring information. Positive and negative wires!

I have the six speaker setup in my 2017 Mustang. Installing these speakers made a huge difference in the sound stage. Way more detail and clarity than factory speakers. Bass didn't see as dramatic of a difference but a lot of that I believe is due to the factory eq setup. Installation was easy and all needed hardware was included.
Pros: Detail and clarity of sound stage Perfect fit
Cons: Wish bass response would have improved a little more

2022 Ford Maverick
Direct fit for 2022 Ford Maverick XLT. The factory speakers have a magnet that was the size of a half dollar and weighed like a frisbee. These speakers were built significantly better and unless you are going to replace the head unit, install an amp, and do full component speakers, these are the way to go. Install on the Maverick is easy - there are five 7mm bolts (two on lower side of door, one behind the red reflector, two under the window switches) and an 8mm bolt behind the cover on the door handle. Unplug the window switch, pop off the inside side mirror cover, pull the door panel (careful with the clips!), unclip the door actuator + door lock switch, and the speakers are right there. These speakers were a direct fit, no cutting and no crimping required. The total installation took us 30mins for both doors. When lining the door panel back on, make sure to hook it over the rails up top. We took the extra time to install sound deadening materials - that probably took several hours but well worth it! Sound was significantly better! Much better lows and mids - we did not install the tweeters so the highs were similar. Are these the best speakers money can buy? Absolutely not, but for how easy it was considering the price, I think it is well worth it.

Not impressive at all
James from San Antonio, TX on 2/21/2022
2017 Ford Edge
Not sure why everyone is raving about these as OEM replacements. I have a 2017 Ford Edge with the Sony System, installed these into the front doors and they sound noticeably less impressive. Also, these are not drop in plug and play. You have to cut off your factory tweeter OEM plugs and solder on new connectors compatible with what Crutchfield provides. There was no wiring harness provided for the tweeter. That being said, maybe the Ford lesser systems it's an upgrade, who knows. I will be returning these.
Pros: Woofer screws right in and adapter plugs in.
Cons: You have to cut OEM harness off your tweeter. Bass output compared to Sony was less. Sounded a bit "fuzzy".

OEM upgrade - '22 Maverick
G from Newbury, NH on 1/21/2022
2016 Ford Escape
Replaced the front components of my 2022 Ford maverick XL. The white plug on the door speakers was a tight fit, but it works. The foam like prior reviewers have said is too thick, but it can be replaced or edited. The tweeters come with a harness adaptor as well and with a little work clip into the factory mounts. If the idea is to keep the stock unit without an amplifier and not have to cut any wires, these are likely the best bang for your buck. Was exactly what I was looking for and woke up the packing sound system in my Maverick with help from a kicker hideaway behind the back seat.
Pros: Plug and play upgrade.
Cons: Slight customization to make it a true plug and play fit

Great plug and play speakers, Crutchfield website states that they don't fit the front location on 2019 Ford Ranger but PowerBass website does, and they do fit, only think I had to do was remove the foam sealing ring and replace it with 3/8" x 5/16" foam weatherstrip, others say to remove the plastic ring on the back of the door panel, this way you don't have to modify your door panel. Sound quality is excellent, I had to lower the tweeter and midrange volume because of the increased efficiency, once adjusted they sound great, they are a great upgrade to the B&O sound system from Ford.

I would have to say these are a good set of speakers for the price. if you are looking for speakers with high power intake, these are probably not for you, but for 120 watt peak power, they have a great clear crisp sound. If you have a stock stereo, these work perfectly, but if you don't, I would recommend not getting these.
Pros: great sound for the price
Cons: works best with stock stereo, not aftermarket stereo.

Not sure why it is listed and it does not fit a 2019 Ford Ranger, it fits perfectly. I received them in 1 day and the install was very easy and straight forward using the Crutchfield guide. Night and day sound difference from the factory tweeters and woofer. I recommend 100%.
Pros: No adapters needed, factory wiring and screw locations are a perfect match
Cons: Foam is a little stiff and thicker than factory, had to trim speaker ring a bit on door panel but that was easy.

These things are junk. I didn't realize they didn't come with a decent cross over. They have a passive cross over for the tweeters that goes in line with them. The "woofer" is not a direct drop in fit for the Ford Mustang. Took a little modifications to make them fit. I used them for 2 days and pulled them back out and installed a set of Polk and I'm much happier.
Pros: Price
Cons: Doesn't sound good at all

Installed these (along with the matching coaxial in the rear doors) in my 13' Focus and for drop in speakers sound pretty good once I dialed in the EQ for them. Running these off of the Sony MEX-XB100BT HU so they are getting ~40w RMS. Install is pretty easy over all and the plug is a little tight as others have said. I'd recommend them for anyone looking for drop in speaker upgrades.

These speakers were listed here as incompatible for my 2019 Ford Ranger, but on the PowerBass web site the were listed as compatible. I called Crutchfield and inquired about the discrepancy and what they found was that the mounting tolerances were off by one-tenth of an inch from the stock woofers and that is why they were tagged as incompatible. After talking with their product expert, we determined that they would more than likely fit. If they didn't, I could always return them. I got them today and they installed just fine! It took a little bit more effort to push the door panels on and compress the foam around the speaker basket, but not too much effort so as to cause a problem. I put them through their paces and they were crystal clear - no buzzing from the door panel or trim! The sound is much better than stock and I would recommend them if you don't want to fight with speaker fitment.

These are truly a plug and play installation that adds more depth in the sound of the other wise stock OEM audio system. The actual installation of the large speakers is simple, remove the screw, unplug the stock speakers and reverse the process with the new speakers. Every thing matches up perfect, and the connections to match the factory speaker harness only simplifies the process. The door pillar tweeters is about as simple, you do have to take time to slip the speakers into the door mount base in the correct position. I intalled these in a 2018 Ford Focus ST with the base sound system. I had hope for more depth and volume, but was let down in my expectations. I don't feel that this has to do with the new speakers, but more due to the lacking ability of the base Ford system installed in the ST. I was aware of this possibility in lack of system performance before I ordered theses speakers. I might add that I installed these as well as the other speakers with out the seperate tweeters for the rear doors.
Pros: Simple plug n play installation, no secrets or tricks needed.
Cons: The factory Ford OEM base head unit lacks the output to fully appreciate the performance of these speakers.
