Good choice

I would have to say these are a good set of speakers for the price. if you are looking for speakers with high power intake, these are probably not for you, but for 120 watt peak power, they have a great clear crisp sound. If you have a stock stereo, these work perfectly, but if you don't, I would recommend not getting these.
Pros: great sound for the price
Cons: works best with stock stereo, not aftermarket stereo.

2019 Ford Ranger

Not sure why it is listed and it does not fit a 2019 Ford Ranger, it fits perfectly. I received them in 1 day and the install was very easy and straight forward using the Crutchfield guide. Night and day sound difference from the factory tweeters and woofer. I recommend 100%.
Pros: No adapters needed, factory wiring and screw locations are a perfect match
Cons: Foam is a little stiff and thicker than factory, had to trim speaker ring a bit on door panel but that was easy.

Perfect for the RS
Crutchfield customer from Albert Lea, MN on 9/21/2020
Install was easy happy with the factory replacement went with a set rather than getting one after having one of my speakers blow out in my RS
Pros: Good Sound Quality overall easy install for Focus RS
Cons: Should've got them sooner they were great thank you

These things are junk. I didn't realize they didn't come with a decent cross over. They have a passive cross over for the tweeters that goes in line with them. The "woofer" is not a direct drop in fit for the Ford Mustang. Took a little modifications to make them fit. I used them for 2 days and pulled them back out and installed a set of Polk and I'm much happier.
Pros: Price
Cons: Doesn't sound good at all

Installed these (along with the matching coaxial in the rear doors) in my 13' Focus and for drop in speakers sound pretty good once I dialed in the EQ for them. Running these off of the Sony MEX-XB100BT HU so they are getting ~40w RMS. Install is pretty easy over all and the plug is a little tight as others have said. I'd recommend them for anyone looking for drop in speaker upgrades.

2019 Ford Ranger
These speakers were listed here as incompatible for my 2019 Ford Ranger, but on the PowerBass web site the were listed as compatible. I called Crutchfield and inquired about the discrepancy and what they found was that the mounting tolerances were off by one-tenth of an inch from the stock woofers and that is why they were tagged as incompatible. After talking with their product expert, we determined that they would more than likely fit. If they didn't, I could always return them. I got them today and they installed just fine! It took a little bit more effort to push the door panels on and compress the foam around the speaker basket, but not too much effort so as to cause a problem. I put them through their paces and they were crystal clear - no buzzing from the door panel or trim! The sound is much better than stock and I would recommend them if you don't want to fight with speaker fitment.

Direct fit into the 2019 Mustang GT. Nice sound quality. Next order of business: eliminate the bass roll-off on the factory stereo via FORScan.

These sound way better than stock and easy to install. Would diffently recommed. Using stock radio power now but upgrading to an external amplifier in the next couple months.
Pros: Great sound and easy install
Cons: Still had to use Crutchfield supplied wiring haraness. So weren't 100% plug and play.

These are truly a plug and play installation that adds more depth in the sound of the other wise stock OEM audio system. The actual installation of the large speakers is simple, remove the screw, unplug the stock speakers and reverse the process with the new speakers. Every thing matches up perfect, and the connections to match the factory speaker harness only simplifies the process. The door pillar tweeters is about as simple, you do have to take time to slip the speakers into the door mount base in the correct position. I intalled these in a 2018 Ford Focus ST with the base sound system. I had hope for more depth and volume, but was let down in my expectations. I don't feel that this has to do with the new speakers, but more due to the lacking ability of the base Ford system installed in the ST. I was aware of this possibility in lack of system performance before I ordered theses speakers. I might add that I installed these as well as the other speakers with out the seperate tweeters for the rear doors.
Pros: Simple plug n play installation, no secrets or tricks needed.
Cons: The factory Ford OEM base head unit lacks the output to fully appreciate the performance of these speakers.
