Better quality materials means better sound

Say goodbye to flimsy factory woofers and whizzer cones. A sturdy yet sensitive injection-molded polypropylene woofer cone delivers the goods in the low frequencies while enduring the extreme temperatures of life in your car door. A 1" titanium inverted dome tweeter gives you smooth highs and all the detail you've been craving from your factory sound. PowerBass uses an inline crossover to ensure the tweeter isn't burdened with playing any low frequencies. These speakers will work great with your Ford radio, but you can get even better performance by powering them with up to 80 watts RMS from an outboard amplifier.

Features

Wiring: In most installations the OE69C-FD is designed for, the factory wiring harness plugs directly into the woofer frame and the included tweeter adapters. In the cases where that's not possible for the woofer, a 10" wire extension is included. The extension also plugs into the factory wiring harness.

Fit: The OE69C-FD is designed as a direct replacement for select Ford and Lincoln vehicles. Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.

Tweeter: Because the tweeters include no grilles, the OE69C-FD should only be installed in applications where there is a factory tweeter (with a grille).

Customer Q&A

2 questions already asked

Q
Does anybody know the power handling of just the tweeter, I didn't realize before I started to install an amplifier that the factory headunit in the 2020 f150 actually has 6 channels (tweeters powered separately from the front door speakers) I'd like to run this in parallel with the 6x9 woofers but not sure if the tweeters could handle the same amount of power as the woofer (80 watts rms) and my amp would put out 120 watts at 2 ohm so 60 watts to the tweeter. Also does this tweeter have any sort of capacitor that would filter out the low frequency given to it if it was fed a full range signal?

A
The power specifications we list online for this speaker is the combined power these drivers handle when connected to the same channel on an amp. These must have crossovers built into them because this speaker also works in applications where both the factory woofer and tweeter connect to the same amp channel. You will want to look at your amp's 4 ohm RMS watt spec to make sure these speakers will work with it

Q
2019 F-150 SCrew. Is there ANY way to get wires thru the door rubber tube? The connector under grommet at top on cab section completely encompasses any wires going thru. Need a wire from x-over in door to pillar tweeter location.

I have a Dodge. You can't put tweeter in door

You should be able to wedge it in between the pillar and rubber door seal. You drill through, it won't hurt anything.. These speakers sound awesome and a big improvement. My only wish is I would have added an amp because I like my music loud.
