Not recommended. f you re buying these to take advantage of the "plug and play" don't waste your money. the speakers are decent, but the connectors going to my 2012 Explorer are horrible. I thought the speakers might be bad, but they tested fine and when I connected the factory speaker, it worked fine again. I had to bend each connector to get them to work at all and then it was intermittent. There are many better options for this amount of money If i want to spend the time rewiring.
Pros:
Cons: not truly OEM

Great speakers, easy install!

2019 Ford F-150 Lariat
Love these speakers! Install was super easy, plug and play! Even the tweeter swap was plug and play. Everything needed came with the speakers. Sound blows away stock speakers. If looking for an easy way to upgrade your sound system without buying an amp and paying for install, these are the way to go!
Pros: Easy installation, great sound quality, huge improvement over stock speakers.
Cons: None

Great upgrade for the price from stock.

I installed these speakers in my 2019 F150 FX4 yesterday along with the 6.5" rear door pair and immediately notice a big difference in sound quality. I was impressed to hear that under the normal watts coming from the stock head unit there was such a difference in the quality of sound. I will be adding the Kicker 8" subwoofer/amp kit: KICK-PF150SC15 2015-2020 F150 Kicker VSS PowerStage Powered Subwoofer & Amp Kit once delivered. Adding additional power to the cabin speakers will only improve sound quality more. Mids and highs are crisp and clean, bass is ok and noticeably better than stock but if you are looking for thump you will need to add a subwoofer. Installation was a piece of cake, completely plug and play. It took me about 1.5 hours to install.
Pros: Good quality speaker material Noticeable sound improvement with stock head unit Value priced for plug and play Big potential when paired with additional power and subwoofer
Cons: Lacks bass but is somewhat expected from smaller speakers Would benefit greatly from amplified power.

Awesome speakers if you're looking to upgrade the stock system in an F-150. Much clearer sound and tighter bass.
Pros: Super easy to install Good way to upgrade sound without an amplifier
Cons: None that I can think of

Not Great, but a definite improvement over stock junk

2019 Ford F-150 XL
A definite improvement over stock. I purchased these for my 2019 ford f150 XL. I also got the KTP 445U amplifier with a harness from a@#$^n.com that made it plug and play. I purchased some kenwoods 6.5's for the rear doors. I wanted to try these with the included tweeters.
Pros: Improved clarity, better bass
Cons: not a quantum leap, truck still needs a sub to get full potential as the cab spaces is large. On a smaller Ford (Edge, Explorer, etc) I think these would be great.
