These are ok speakers for how inexpensive they are. They are however low quality speakers. I tried to use them to replace the factory 9" Bose speakers in my Mazda. There are not a lot of options for 2 ohm mid bass drivers in the aftermarket. I contacted the manufacturer to get the T/S parameters for them and they stated they do not offer them. I decided to take a chance on them anyway and am returning them as they sound worse than the stock speakers. They sound a lot better from an aftermarket amp but after adding an aftermarket amp I decided to get better quality speakers.

Good enough for the price , plastic cones sound yukky though

2014 buick verano premium , bose 9 spkr, 2nd replacement for frint door speakers , 1st set was cheapest component 6.5 hertz 4 ohm amd it sounded great but no thump , o.e. is 2 ohm , no paper 2ohm so went with 7in polypro speaker and modded the plastic bracket a tad , trimed the opening larger and used a dremel or hot knoife to cut a slit in the side of the bracket under a mounting hole tab , bent a quick clip straight , pushed it through with the threaded side under the speaker hole mount , bent the quick clip up so it would bind when gently tightened. Used foam " camper shell " or" ac install " tape ( for my trailer park peoples!) To seal her up. Fit right in , speaker is only a slightly bigger than 6.5 / 6.75. Its 2 ohm so it hits or bumps similar to paper o.e. bose prices 2x. It sounds as good maybe slightly better or worse , but fir the price of 1/2 the origina its ok, i hate how poly propolene sounds as a speaker diaphragm or cone so i was reluctant. The paper hertz sounded much betrer but got half the wattage due to 4 ohms so I wanted more bass. Trying to do without sub and compare to factory sq without using o.e. all my body side connectors were corroded so rock auto wants 350 for o.e. then i gotta buy 4 new co connectors, since i gotta cut anyway i figured ill go with aftermarket . Well the powerbass 2 ohm is cheap enough you won't be disappointed, i wish they made more 2 ohm paper one way drivers .
Pros: Cheap 60 a pair , bass similar to o.e., probably last longer than paper o.e. 2 ohm so o.e. amp makes most power
Cons: Made outta polypropylene, that stuff sounds terribel , JL uses it at All proce points and it sounds terrible up loud like all plastic speakers,
