Amplified Powersports Soundbar: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1000 is an amplified powersports soundbar designed to provide high-fidelity sound in almost any terrain. The Soundbar is equipped with a total of ten speakers and 400 watts of continuous power (800 watts peak). The XL-1000 is equipped with two 1.25" Mylar dome tweeters and eight 3" full-range marine-grade poly cone woofers. The tweeters and woofers are powered by a 200 watt x 2 channel (RMS) amplifier with a built-in precision tuned DSP for optimum output with low distortion.

Rugged Design: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1000 features a heavy-duty, military-grade extruded aluminum water-tight housing that is able to withstand the harshest of environments. The soundbar's circuit board has been conformal coated with a layer of transparent material that protects the parts against moisture, dust and temperature extremes. In addition, stainless steel hardware is supplied to resist rust and corrosion.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: Built-in Bluetooth 4.0 with support for A2DP/AVRCP allows you to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content on your Bluetooth source device (such as your smartphone or tablet) to the PowerBass Xtreme XL-1000 amplified powersports soundbar speaker. You can control Volume and Previous/Next Track functions from the soundbar. You can only have one Bluetooth source device paired and connected at a time. The XL-1000 has a wireless Bluetooth range of approximately 32'.

Note: Bluetooth hands-free phone (HFP) communication is not supported.

Aux Input: A 3.5mm Aux input (250mv-3V) allows you to make a wired audio connection to your smartphone, tablet, or portable digital audio player.

2V Line Output: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1000 is equipped with a 2-volt, 3.5mm line output for adding a second soundbar, powered sub, or external amplifier. The line output is a full-range variable output that is controlled by the soundbar.

Controller: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1000 is outfitted with a front-panel controller to operate the soundbar. The controller provides Power On/Off, Source (Bluetooth or Aux), Volume Up/Down, and Previous/Next Track functions. An optional wired remote controller (151XLSBCON, sold separately) offers the same controls as the integrated front-panel controller, but allows you to mount it flush in your ATV's dash for easier access. The  XL-SBCON wired remote plugs into the multi-pin proprietary connector on the side of the soundbar speaker.

Mounting Options: Universal "L" mount brackets offer easy installation for many applications. Optional mounting brackets are available for square or round tubes (sold separately - see Accessories tab). Find an unobstructed mounting location where the soundbar will be easily heard and out of the way so no harm will come to any individual in or around the vehicle. A prime location to mount the soundbar in an off-road vehicle would be on the roll bar preferably in the front of the cockpit.

Note: The XL-1000 amplified soundbar's chassis measures 35.5" (w) x 4.25" (h) x 4.25" (d), and weighs 16.35 lbs. It measures 37.5" (w) with wiring harness connected.

Wiring Harness: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1000 comes with a 12.5' wiring harness terminated with a proprietary multi-pin connector on one end that plugs directly in the amplified soundbar speaker. The other end of the wiring harness features a +12V switched lead (red) with an inline 15A fuse and is terminated by a 0.1875" ring-terminal, a ground wire (black) terminated by a 0.1875" ring-terminal, a female 3.5mm Aux input (gray), and a female 3.5mm Aux output (white).

Note: This amplified soundbar is designed for operation in vehicles with 12-volt Negative ground electrical systems only.

Auto Turn Off & Protection Circuit: An auto turn-off circuit eliminates battery drain while unit is not in use.  After 10 minutes of non-activity this circuit will turn off the soundbar automatically. To resume play back after the auto-turn off circuit has been engaged, simply press the power button. A red protection light will turn on if the soundbar is detecting over or under voltage. This is a built-in protection circuit that prevents damage to the electronics.
