Amplified Powersports Soundbar: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1250 is an amplified powersports soundbar designed to provide high-fidelity sound in almost any terrain. The Soundbar is equipped with a total of twelve speakers and 500 watts of continuous power (1000 watts peak). The XL-1250 is equipped with four 1" Mylar dome tweeters, two 3" full-range marine-grade poly cone drivers, and six 3.5" premium marine-grade rectangular woofers. The tweeters, woofers, and full-range drivers are powered by a 250 watt x 2 channel (RMS) amplifier with a built-in precision tuned DSP for optimum output with low distortion.

Rugged Design: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1250 features a heavy-duty, military-grade extruded aluminum water-tight housing that is able to withstand the harshest of environments. The soundbar's circuit board has been conformal coated with a layer of transparent material that protects the parts against moisture, dust and temperature extremes. In addition, stainless steel hardware is supplied to resist rust and corrosion.

All-Weather Use: The XL-1250 carries an IPX6 waterproof rating for all-weather use.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: Built-in Bluetooth 4.0 with support for A2DP/AVRCP allows you to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content on your Bluetooth source device (such as your smartphone or tablet) to the PowerBass Xtreme XL-1250 amplified powersports soundbar speaker. You can control Volume, Pause, and Previous/Next Track functions from the soundbar. Only one Bluetooth source device can be paired and connected at a time. The XL-1250 has a wireless Bluetooth range of approximately 32'.

Note: Bluetooth hands-free phone (HFP) communication is not supported.

Aux Input: A set of stereo RCA input jacks (250mv-3V) lets you make a wired audio connection to your smartphone, tablet, or portable digital audio player.

2V Line Output: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1250 is equipped with a 2-volt, RCA line output for adding a second soundbar, powered sub, or external amplifier. The RCA output is a full-range variable output that is controlled by the soundbar Volume controls.

Controls: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1250 is outfitted with front-panel controls to operate the soundbar. The control panel provides Power On/Off/Pause, Source (Bluetooth or Aux), Volume Up/Down, and Previous/Next Track functions.

Note: Pause and Previous/Next Track functions are only available for Bluetooth operation.

Mounting Options: The included universal "L"-mount brackets offer easy installation for many applications. Optional mounting brackets are available for square or round tubes (sold separately - see Accessories tab). Find an unobstructed mounting location where the soundbar will be easily heard and out of the way of passengers. A prime location to mount the soundbar in an off-road vehicle would be on the roll bar.

Wiring Harness: The PowerBass Xtreme XL-1250 comes with a 15' wiring harness terminated with a proprietary multi-pin threaded connector on one end that plugs directly in the soundbar's built-in 2' input cable. The other end of the wiring harness features:

• Red: +12V Constant power lead with inline 30A mini-ATO fuse, terminated by a 0.326" ring-terminal
• Black: Ground wire, terminated by a 0.326" ring-terminal
• Blue: +12V Switched power for soundbar activation
• Blue/White: +12V Output, for triggering outboard amplifiers or powered speakers
• Aux Input: Stereo RCA audio input
• Aux Output: Stereo RCA audio output
