About the Sony ES TC-WA7ESA

The TC-WA7ESA delivers ES performance at an incredibly affordable price. Its dual-motor design (for both A and B decks) ensures stable tape speed and minimal wow and flutter (.07%). Defeatable auto record level measures peak signals and adjusts recording levels for optimum sound quality (with external sources only). If you're looking for top-notch Sony ES performance on a budget, this is it!
Finding a dual cassette deck that sacrifices nothing is rare. But, Sony ES dubbing decks accomplish just that, with audiophile-grade design, impeccable sound, plus user-friendly features. Sony built these decks for music lovers who crave the convenience and features of a dual-well machine, but who refuse to compromise on purity of sound. "ES" stands for Elevated Standard, and these decks certainly live up to that name. For convenience, all Sony ES dubbing decks feature auto-reverse, high-speed dubbing, and relay play. Dolby B, C, and S noise reduction tame unwanted noise and hiss to provide exceptional sound quality.

Auto Bias and recording level calibration are available for deck B. The auto bias and recording level calibration function is available only when recording external sources; this function is not available when dubbing from deck A to deck B.
